Get a oversize inlet pipe, a large air filter and a remap and you can thank me once you're done. (Should get 265 - 270bhp and a bucket load more torque) Night and Day.
Goals af, I have a audi tt 8n. I want that rear seat delete he has, I live in the US though and it's so hard to get anything for this car unlike the UK. But yeah this car is definitely a modern classic my coworker thought it was a 2016 😅.
@@Justin-Bybee yeah I try to do all the work myself. I'm currently future proofing atm but I will get to all that. Had to spend a good 3k to get it's reliable. Only has 113k miles so pretty damn low for a 02 😅

I own three silver mk1 TT's. Selling my 1.8 automatic 180bhp right hand two wheel drive. Enjoyed it light pulls nice and triptronic and option for manual shifting. I am really enjoying my left hand 6 speed Quattro. It handles excellent but at really high speeds need to lower the springs and stabilizes. It also lacks bottom power I need to tune it. The other is a project rare sportsline. Bigger turbo as standard, quick shifter, better stopping power, lowered with four exhaust mufflers. Not sure on the bhp between 250 to 310
I'm guessing you mean four exhaust "tips" or you may have four exhaust BOX mufflers too :D I'm just playing with you I LOVE my mk1 TT.. I had it in the shop for 4-5 months, wanted to buy WHOLE new engine wire harness whole wires for car, changed to OG 225, even though I popping in more power than that, and changed all the sensors.. MAN helped a lot. so happy it's back. My mechanic didn't drive it until last night both of us.. he kept saying "THIS car suks man soo old and shit... then he took it to 6.9k-7k on a High Valve turbo'd 1,800 slightly tuned for slight rev up. Also it's de-resed and de muffled and IT has resonated TIPS..shit sounds MINI Racy as it pulls from ~4-7k+ INSANE sounds and feeling I was passenger seat and I actually felt the power and SOUND as my mechanic went through 1-4 gears.. Then he said.. aight it does need work "but I see why you bought it now :D".
As long as you enjoy it that's important. Why did you change your sensors I seem to have a problem with mine about 3 of them. Two have low signal another short to ground the scanner says..lacks power until 3000rpm. Now the scanner cannot connect maybe faulty ECU suggested. Think of getting a plug and ply ECU@@slavche
I just bought 1.8 Quattro one of these with stage 2 tuning/suspension etc though have nowhere to really get the drive benefit nor have the gonads at 60 years old for its crazy power! It's ridiculously cheap for what you can get for ur bucks though I reckon I have one of the cheapest(I paid mates rates & just want my money back,. ) Where's the best place to sell it to someone who appreciates these with full history/full Mot?
its been a ongoing project ... Ive purchased stuff and Badger 5 have supplied stuff, the turbo was second hand ... but id say ive spent 15k maybe more.

@John Fisher yeah I know that haha but I wanna know how he got that exact sound it's subtle compared to others .. I understand how it works but I just can't seem to get mine to do it haha
@@Felixmfox mines running around 270-290... need to get it checked. fully rebuilt internals back to FULL 225 spec, but I got forged rods thats only upgrade.. standard (also mentioned here) comes with forged pistons anyway. + fully un-restricted exhaust, R8 sparkers (ic ignition coils), stage 2 Tuned ECU.. +air intake upgrade. From the start of my "small" upgraded 225 , it somehow ALREADY had an insane turbo "flutter" i didn't know what it was called, i would bang it off literally 7-7.1k off the dash ( sometimes not read right?? but so smooth) and right after let go.. BAM exhaust backfire every gear... and flutter ( car is so loud i sometimes not hear flutter or backFire). Car is so loud(not a rarri dog but i like it vs ur standard 1000 bike,, i even gas station revved versus 1000cc exhaust modded ish's... we said sorry) I have no idea how they sound so good, i revved ferraris drove porsches, had ZL1s, 350z (tuned)... Something about this car, in real life... sounds really good, and the turbo flutter comes in EASY somehow.. DONT give up! don't give up, i think this car you can get sounding GREAT(insane with upgrades?) and turbo flutter... but dude was right^ don't try to break your car getting flutter though, it is cuz of certain things.. BUT yes you can have it around 250-260 -300 before 400 even. Peace to all guys, sorry if I bored anybody or seem misinformed. GJ! PS i've raced "some" sport bikes in this... i'm waiting for a 1,000 to bust my ass for real real haha, but honestly i was REALLY racing 1,000s in my ZL1 before no PROB... 145+mph in few secs after slowing down on highway.... (This thing is my first Euro Trip build, it GOT LEGS guys... i want 500+ - 700? hp... 1250-1300kg 4 wheel, QUattro.). honestly i want 1,000 hp in this HAHA it is so SMALL aero dynamically that MAN i can't wait.

It uses the same 1.8t the Volkswagen golf uses so engine components are kinda cheap if you do the work yourself! I have an emerald 180 tt myself
