FAQ:
Q: Can I send you a deck to check out?
A: Only patrons can send me decks and expect a reply, because I get too many of these requests to manage. Consider joining the discord (links above) and posting your decks in the #decks channel for community feedback.
Q: Why didn’t you play this certain card I would play?
A: Because I don’t think it is as good as every other card in the deck.
Q: Why did you make that play at time stamp XX:XX?
A: I usually talk through my plays, so watch again and see if I mention it (I often do, sometimes during the turn after the play to keep the video moving). If I don’t mention it at all, I may have missed it. I miss plays several times a day, and so do other players.
Q: How can I support the channel?
A: Watching the videos IS supporting the channel. There are many options above if you have extra money and would like to help more. I appreciate it, I have a lot of bills and life stuff to manage, but it is not required. Take care of yourself first, watch the videos, then give other financial support if you really want to.
Q: Will you play janky deck xyz?
A: My mission is to show people decks that they can play often, win games with, and feel successful with. I don’t enjoy decks that strive to achieve an interaction but rarely win (aka, janky decks). There are many successful jank players on TH-cam, and you should check out their channels. I am competitive, I like winning, and I like helping others win and feel successful. That is why you won’t see janky combo decks on the channel very often.
Q: Do you show all your games, or do you edit out your losses?
A: I don’t show all my games. The video is usually the best moments of between one and three hours of recording. I remove games for a number of reasons, both wins and losses. Some games are slow, some aren’t competitive because of lands, some are the same matchup over and over. More losses get cut out than wins because winning is more fun for me, which makes for better content for most viewers. It can be disappointing for those who want to see me lose (yes, people watch just to see me lose, I see you!).
Q: If you edit out some of your losses, how do I know if a deck is good and worth crafting?
A: If you watch the entire video, I always give my honest opinion about the deck at the end. As always, you are welcome to draw your own conclusions. My goal is to show off a variety of decks that can get a player with skill and conviction into Mythic, and I want them to have fun doing it. I almost never show a video of a deck that I don’t believe in, and if I don’t like a deck after playing it, I guarantee you will know about it if you watch the whole video and listen to what I have to say.

What was happening to you not only with land draws , but end of game getting only lands , is happening to me like crazy. I don’t know if it’s the snow lands , but it’s not just me going crazy. It’s happening way too often. The shuffler really does seem like an issue.
Shuffler LOVES to give you those awkward lands in your opening hand instead of...ya know, the other 20ish untapped basics that you have and need to get a good curve out
I climbed from silver to diamond with a 7 Dwarves version of Magda/Dragons. But I added Opportunistic Dragon, because there's so many Humans and Kaldheim artifacts floating around. Removing them mid-combat with Magda's ability is amazing (sometimes even better than fetching the Embercleave).

About the havens: There is something really wrong with the shuffler in case of non basic lands. I played dimir control recently and I run 2 castles Vantress. I kid You not, I had 3 games IN A ROW where I had all of them in my starting hand.
It's a small detail but thank you CGB for not having the different games marked on the timelines of the videos, keeps the suspense

Am I missing something? Shock deals 2 damage to any target, but opponent had 3 health.

When you don't throw $$$$ at the P2W decks. Mono white and red is the only way to get wins when your leveled up. Then there is all the cards with a casting cost does not reflect the power of the cards. Rogue deck is nothing but below rare over powered low casting cost deck. Currently messing around with theme decks to get back down to gold level. Only way to earn a decent amount of cards. Shuffler is also part of what reward cards are earned. Use the deck search to figure out what set has a few missing rare mystic cards. Use coin pile to get a pack or two at a time. Few days later after cool off from game's shuffler BS, burn a pile of gems for the same set. Seem to get those missing rare from spending gems that 3x the coins could not get. Coins get that 4th craptastic rare.

I don't get it! In the match vs mono G stompy einzwase, CGB had a 2/2 haste phoenix and a frost bite at 17:14. He could have hasted out, hit for 2 and then snow shocked. Einzwase had no reach and no mana or spells to defend. Great series :)

I really wish they would do something about the shuffler already. Had 3 games in a row last night playing my Kroxa deck where I managed to draw 10+ lands - 16 in the last game!!!
I entered 3 drafts this morning and game after game I couldn't manage to find the right color mana despite only running 2 colors while my opponents manage 3 and 4 color decks no problem. I hate competitive Magic....

That vs. rogues comeback was sweet, even if it was done using mono-red...i guess you have to fight fire with fire. Also can't really blame the white aggro dude for mocking a mon-red loosing, it's been a log time for people loosing to embercleaves...
