The mystery coins is 40 Para from the Ottoman Empire, the date on the coin in the Hijri calendar is 1327, this equates to 1909 I believe. But there is also a datemark near the tughra on the obverse. I couldn't make it out in your video. But depending on that and whether it is the tughra of Sultan Reshat or el-Ghazi, it was minted between 1909 and 1917. Great video, I reckon there is bound to be some other little jewels among those you weren't bothered about though!
I see the ration tokens even though you didn't mention yet in the video. Crazy timing! I just got a bag of old buttons at a thrift store for 50 cents. And had a small handful of those mixed in. They are $2 each all day!
Wow! That's one of those bags that just by window shopping it's an automatic yes at $35. (I didn't watch the video yet, lol) Those types of truly unsearched bags are well worth the the purchase. Even if you don't find really good stuff, you're never gonna lose money piecing them out in smaller lots after pulling out the silver. Can't wait to see what is in there!
Yeah 👍 Fun was had ! Makes me want to go through my foreign bag of coins that's probably 3 to 4 times the size of this one. A darn good $35 investment !
Dang! That was a sweet video! That 1798 large cent - even those it wasn't in the best shape - was an incredible find! Those older Canadians were cool! And you had an amazing number of different silver and older coins! I have never had a foreign coin bag like that - congrats!
Nice hunt Rob, I inherited my father’s old coin collection. There’s a couple of mason jars full of foreign coins I started to go through and was very time consuming, some day I’ll have to do some more research. Need to find a book on collectible foreign coins might be easier than online searching.
As much as I love the regular programming, these world coin hunts are very enjoyable.. So much so that after the last video I had to go get my fix elsewhere.... of course still coming back here for every video anyway :) Even if you do not find much of value, it is still interesting to see all the different coins that are out there
Terrific finds, especially that large cent. I wouldn't be surprised if it fetched closer to $200 in an ebay auction, or one of your livestream auctions!
Rob, make sure you check for the 1962 “Hanging 2” variety penny as well as the 1962 “Double Die” variety nickel as well. Great grab and great video as usual!
Fantastic lot for $35! I estimated just the silver coins alone have about $85 of silver in them. Not to mention the old Large and Half cent and the Flying eagle and everything else. I'm thinking you could sell the coins in this lot to another dealer for $200 at least.
Really interesting hunt, and you got a good score out of it too. I've never messed with foreign coins much. Back before Christmas I bought a small lot of foreign silver coins, mostly from Europe dating from the mid 1800's to ww2 era. I bought them mostly because I thought the designs on some of them are really beautiful. I still haven't gotten through them yet, when I take a notion I'll set down research a couple and staple them in a 2x2 cardboard holder. I don't know if I'll ever buy more, but I'm satisfied with the ones I have.
The mystery coin looks very similar to an Egyptian one I found a couple months ago. Took me many hours to positively identify it and verify that it wasn't silver. A lot of them are silver though, so be sure to scrutinize it.
I use the Google camera on the search bar to find any coins I don't know. It works for me 99 percent of the time. Maybe try that with the Indian coin possibly. Such a great video Rob
Another great video, thanks, Rob! American market seems so huge and gives so much chances to good explorers, hope to see you making another big hits not only with kopeeks! The arabic coin is nickel 40 para 1327 (1908-09) from Ottoman empire.
Man I'm still hoping we can get some kind of long form video of world coins, as someone who doesn't collect this stuff, seeing these designs is really cool, even the British stuff you are pointing out are completely unknown to me (actually just about everything in this bag is unknown to me), but still love the video as always.
As someone stated below the mystery coin is Ottoman. Its dated 1327 and is a 40 Para coin. Not silver. It has an "El-Ghazi mark (1916-17)to the right of the turgha but can't see the regnal year under the turgha which would narrow the date to a western year.
The mystery coin is an Ottoman Empire 40 Para 1327 (1916/1917). I would like a closer look at the UK pennies as there are some scarcer and rarer varieties in them.
The one dark copper coin on the top of the taller stack is not British, but a French Empire Napoleon III coin. Part of the name is rubbed off, but still readable and that DEFINITELY is his portrait. Just saying.
Keep hunting and good luck! They're still out there for us to find! I post new videos almost daily so please subscribe if you wish to see more: goo.gl/7jX6g5

Where did you get this 5-pound world coin bag?
Awesome world coin hunt Awesome collection thanks for sharing Rob
Hey, I was wondering where you source your world coins
The mystery coins is 40 Para from the Ottoman Empire, the date on the coin in the Hijri calendar is 1327, this equates to 1909 I believe. But there is also a datemark near the tughra on the obverse. I couldn't make it out in your video. But depending on that and whether it is the tughra of Sultan Reshat or el-Ghazi, it was minted between 1909 and 1917.
Great video, I reckon there is bound to be some other little jewels among those you weren't bothered about though!
Looks like year 8, so it's km779 1916, the most common one.
For sure. It’s hard to go through all of them at 1 sitting. Might do a follow up to both bags in another video…
That 1798 large cent is a 1798/7 overdate, should help with narrowing down the variety
Great eye !! I saw something there but didn't realize what till I saw your comment.
Yes I saw that also when I noticed something odd with that 8.
That’s what I noticed as well. What a find!
That 1798/7 is valued a AG3 at $300+.
It is! Thank you! My eyes were tired and I missed that!
I see the ration tokens even though you didn't mention yet in the video. Crazy timing! I just got a bag of old buttons at a thrift store for 50 cents. And had a small handful of those mixed in. They are $2 each all day!
Very cool!
I agree. Whenever he has stuff like that, I grab it!
The 1818 Prussian Thaler is about a $50 coin
I love those world coins that you searched, good hunt, keep up the good hunting👍.
Thanks for the video! Tons of fun!!!
I'm glad you're back Rob! 🎉
One if the coolest videos in a long time
Very nice finds. Congratulations. I enjoy your videos.
Thank you very much!
That was a great buy Rob. Great finds, great value, old us coins, and can't get mad at finding silver.
Great video. I love collecting coins.
Holy cow Rob, definitely some good stuff there, you made out good, congrats brother 👍
For sure fun 👍 got me wanting to check out coin shops for foreign goodies 🤓
Wow great finds
Nice coins, Rob! Love those wartime V Canadian nickels. 1930 ender on $10 in pennies bought today but only 3 1944’s in all the “inders”.
Still fun I’m sure!
Yeah 👍 Fun was had ! Makes me want to go through my foreign bag of coins that's probably 3 to 4 times the size of this one.
A darn good $35 investment !
Wow, Rob, you did good! Great buy!!
Always love the world coin vids

I love a wrap up of any length! @@RobFindsTreasure
This was an intriguing bag, and a good buy, nice hunt, thanks for sharing 😀🇺🇸
What a fun bag to search through!
I have a complete 1970 Mint set, in the original mint set. 1976 USSR mint sets is a rare year too for your info rob. les go!

Very interesting hunt with lots of fun finds! Really enjoyed the watch... Happy Hunting, Stephen
Fantastic bag of foreign coins etc
Dang! That was a sweet video! That 1798 large cent - even those it wasn't in the best shape - was an incredible find! Those older Canadians were cool! And you had an amazing number of different silver and older coins! I have never had a foreign coin bag like that - congrats!

Great finds, love sorting world coins
That was one heck of a bag.
Man that was a better bag than the dimes or the nickels...don't expect that with foreign...nice!!!
I love world coin videos. I wish I had LCS that had them near me.
Nice bag of goodies!!! Thanks for posting.
Nice hunt Rob, I inherited my father’s old coin collection. There’s a couple of mason jars full of foreign coins I started to go through and was very time consuming, some day I’ll have to do some more research. Need to find a book on collectible foreign coins might be easier than online searching.
Wow, you did well!
Wow, that's a great RTI. I usually pass on foreign or world coins but looks like I have been making bad choices.
As much as I love the regular programming, these world coin hunts are very enjoyable.. So much so that after the last video I had to go get my fix elsewhere.... of course still coming back here for every video anyway :)
Even if you do not find much of value, it is still interesting to see all the different coins that are out there
Glad you like them! Thank you!
Great, interesting video. Thank you.
It would of been nice to see all the upgrades to your collection.
Noted!
Yes and thank you!
great bag of coins by the way the 1923 nickel is a low mint key date so nice non silver find
Fantastic lot for $35! I estimated just the silver coins alone have about $85 of silver in them. Not to mention the old Large and Half cent and the Flying eagle and everything else. I'm thinking you could sell the coins in this lot to another dealer for $200 at least.
Hi Rob, cool to see you doing another foreign coin bag. Hope you really like the world coins like me. Watching and 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻ing.🏆💪🏻🇺🇸
Really interesting hunt, and you got a good score out of it too.

Those WW2 ration tokens are really cool
Rob, I have a Few Canda one penny bank tokens which are strange, but they cost at least a few bucks even worn.
The coin you showed after the Balboa coin is is an aribic coin dated 1327. ( 1909 ) check the northern African countrys.
I use the Google camera on the search bar to find any coins I don't know. It works for me 99 percent of the time. Maybe try that with the Indian coin possibly. Such a great video Rob

Thank you brother!
👍 pretty cool there Rob!!
Thanks brother!
all interesting. The counter-stamped cents a something I \had not seen before.
In your token pile you had a ww1 victory medal planchette which could be rare if it is engraved on the rim or front of the medal. Awesome finds
I’ll have to take a look. Thank you!
Yes it was! It's missing the ribbon but is the USA Inter-Allied Victory Medal 1917-1919
Was there a name engraved on it?
Really cool hunt! Love going through stuff like that. Was that a WWI Victory Medal I saw?
Yes it was! It's missing the ribbon but is the USA Inter-Allied Victory Medal 1917-1919
Very neat piece of history there, too! Congrats on the hunt!
The counter strike pennies are pretty cool.
$35 is good deal for a lot of fan to search them. Really enjoyable for coin lovers.
What a fun hunt! I'm looking to add to my type set so if you are looking to sell the older US coins please let me know.
What a score wow 👍
I think you got a great deal.
Thanks for the video!
WOW, THAT WAS COOL. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO,
Hey Rob! I think I know what auction you got this haul from 🤣😭🤣 👍🏽
At 4:40, I am fairly sure that Drape Bust Large Cent looks like an 1898/7 variety in AG-03/Good-4 condition which is worth about $385.
Good buy
Man I'm still hoping we can get some kind of long form video of world coins, as someone who doesn't collect this stuff, seeing these designs is really cool, even the British stuff you are pointing out are completely unknown to me (actually just about everything in this bag is unknown to me), but still love the video as always.
You said this was 35 bucks? Man you have some VERY good luck. my favorite coin of the bunch is the thaler. I also think it's pronounced like "taller"
The ‘mystery coin’ is from the Ottoman Empire, likely Turkey Egypt or Syria from around the turn of the century/early 1900s
Wow, great find! Where would you get a bag like that for $35?
Nice Rob!!!
We're does one buy the big bags of coins that you bought the bag of coins from
I buy them from coin shops and Silver/Gold dealers.
You made BANK!!!!!!!
Where do you get the coin bags?
WOW WOW WOW WOW
As someone stated below the mystery coin is Ottoman. Its dated 1327 and is a 40 Para coin. Not silver. It has an "El-Ghazi mark (1916-17)to the right of the turgha but can't see the regnal year under the turgha which would narrow the date to a western year.
Sweet !
Nice pick up!
Nice job 😊😊😊
Thanks 😄
My coin scope app says the mystery coin is a 40 para from Ottoman Empire its a Copper nickel made from 1918 to 1922 worth 2.91 in US dollar
Thank you!
@@RobFindsTreasure your welcome
I like to get transit tokens , cool finds
4:45 ROB I WANT SO SAY THAT IS A 1798/7 ITS CLEAR AS DAYLIGHT
Tired eyes got the best of him!
Where do you purchase the coins?
Epic hunt good sir, have you slotted the last two 2023 Quarters yet?
Not yet.
Geez Louise!
I do have a 1 øre from Denmark and it’s smaller than a dime
The mystery coin is an Ottoman Empire 40 Para 1327 (1916/1917). I would like a closer look at the UK pennies as there are some scarcer and rarer varieties in them.
Did he ever say where he got the bag? I can't find any info about it=
Fun
Love it when you get a pile of coins some one thinks that they are all junk.
Your Mystery coin is Egyptian. The writing is Arabic.
The one dark copper coin on the top of the taller stack is not British, but a French Empire Napoleon III coin. Part of the name is rubbed off, but still readable and that DEFINITELY is his portrait. Just saying.
Yeah…. I caught that afterwards when I was comparing to my set. Good eye brother, even for a centennial, just sayin!
I'm getting there brother. Hope you are doing better. Finding all of those "treasures" should definitely cheer you up. Just saying.@@RobFindsTreasure
That 1953 Canadian nickel looks like a proof.
Nice
Napoleon the Canadian haha
lol. Yeah, wrong stack.
Mr Google tells me the Arabic coin is"1327 1916 Ottoman Empire 40 Para Mehmed V Coin El-ghazi Right of Toughra "
the 1913 half crown (my favourite coin) is 90 percent silver up until 1920 when they changed it to 50 percent
10:49 The writing is arabic. It looks like a 40 Para Mehmed V from the ottoman empire.
