- Breaking into the Soulslike genre is no easy feat. It seems there’s a new combat-centric RPG around every corner, but Enotria: The Last Song from Italian developer Jyamma Games looks to offer enough distinction that it stands good chance to enter the growing pantheon of worthy Soulslikes.
Its sun-baked, nature filled environs aren’t the only aspect that’ll serve Enotria: The Last Song well. There’s an in-depth RPG system at play here, with push-forward combat, a wealth of stat buffs, perks, equip-able items, and skills to unlock in what Jyamma Games are promising as a wholly customisable, experimental experience.
Furthermore, Italian culture, heritage, and history is baked into every facet, with theatrical masks reminiscent of Venetian carnivals most attention grabbing. This feature aims to unpack everything there is to know about Enotria: The Last Song, but, as you’ll discover, there’s much more to this hopeful Soulslike than warm Mediterranean weather.

@@rianzog thats an inaccurate analogy. Most of fromsoft are well cooked meats, lies of p is well cooked meat but with sauce
From personal impressions in the demo, I’d say this is closer to 2024’s Italian Mortal Shell than any sort of Lies of P soulslike successor. Not sure if that comparison is helpful to anyone but it’s my own take so far

Yea I played the demo and this is nowhere near the level of Lies Of P. It's a decent Souls like though.

I played the demo and I didn't love it but it was okay. I'm thinking I'll pick this one up at the holiday when it goes on sale.

The Surge 1 and 2 were some of the best souls like games and those games were pretty brightly lit
I don't care much about the gameplay, give me a story that would justify even a noob to grind and get good against a very hard boss

I really enjoyed my time with the demo... challenging combat and exploration, different builds to try out.. this is my type of game !

I finished the DLC like four times and deleted it... then immediately realized the error of my ways and reinstalled. Yep. Still playing it.

Colors are amazing not too dark, gloomy & depressing like any other souls game. The protagonist looks stupid though it's like a prototype of something tbh

It can be so easy to refresh an old formula. the sunny italy vibe is very intreging, I grew tired of some old gloomy gothic theme.

I don't think this looks that great, interesting concept but I dunno. There's something about this that looks off
Lies of P is on same level as From's and i don't think this game's that good, animation's stiff, level design is terrible and sound design's not good etc etc..
