Fantastic scenery! The water looks so clear ! Always good to be home, though. Thanks for taking us along again.....no mosquitoes either. lol

It’s got a coffee stain but it is clear! The mosquitoes were in full force at night but we prepared ourselves with candles and other products. We got burned by them in 2017. Never again! Ha!

I rented a cabin and have been fishing on that lake for 7 years. It's my favourite lake. I know some secret spots on that lake that will remain secret. I learned these from Wilford, Charlie's dad at Northern Walleye Lodge. He has now passed but, his secrets live on in my memory. Great fishing guys. I wish I was there with you. I might even show you a few hot spots.

Correction. Charlie is at northern wilderness lodge.

In that area, there's a place that you get a 5 pound pike every cast. I was trying to find a lure, in my tackle box, that wouldn't catch a fish. I had my rod over my knees with a spinner just touching the water and the rod started bouncing. A fish was biting on it and it wasn't even moving. I caught so many fish but, only kept a few for dinner. The large pike and walleye are the breeders so, I let them go. Great video guys.

Why didn't you catch any lake trout? There's lots of lake trout in Dog lake. I used to catch lake trout in the mornings and the bite would drop off around noon. I'd go back to the cabin eat, have a few wobbly pops, then go fishing in the afternoon.

We have unlimited access to Lake Trout on Lake Michigan. We catch a ton of them here. We wanted to go after fish that we normally don’t catch here. Great question! Thanks for checking us out!

In lake Ontario I catch lake trout, trolling a gold spoon at about 80 feet. Using a down rigger of course. Hint for dog lake. The big fish mostly eat small white fish. I use a white Rapala and catch giant pike, walleye and white fish. Match the hatch. Good lock from a Canadian fisherman.

hi where did u get the laminated map? I have a large 20”x30” but would be a pain to laminate and transport. Also I see u had your own boat but didn’t bring it- too big for the lake??

Thanks for watching! I actually got an original from warren and then I took it to staples to size it and laminate it the way I wanted. Sorry if thats not helpful.

Warren has a few of these old boats around. I prefer these smaller ones because they are easier to control and vertically jig. I asked for this one specifically.
