I’ve already canned 52 lbs of tomatoes, using my blender you don’t have to blanch or peel the tomatoes !! 17 lbs of pickles, 12 lbs of pickled okra, and 25 lbs of hot Hatch green chillies !! I also love canning and my husband helps!!! I also have a canning closet to keep my jars and all my canning supplies!! Tip: I keep my rings on a metal hanger that I took apart and made it into a circle and hook it together at the top and hang them on the side of my metal shelf in my canning closet… this saves tons of space in your drawers and shelves!!! Happy canning and gardening!!! I also have a cabinet much like your new white one but mine is oak , I do love it!! My great Aunt Desi had one and called hers a dish safe!! I keep my grandmothers cattail dishes in mine!!!

My favorite non thrifted item was the picture with the sheep. It reminded me of our recent trip to Ireland. I wouldn’t have been able to leave that behind. I actually have a magnolia painting you showed in one of your videos hanging in my bedroom. It’s a piece I cherish because I got it while my husband, Ivan and I , shopped with you and your husband. The bow hooks and the embroidery pieces are so nice. I really like those. I hope you do a dining room makeover or decorating video soon.

Oh Wow so many gorgeous at pieces😮 That sheep painting was precious & a great price! Just before that was A smaller ornate frame with a little girl, it was just gorgeous!❤ So many beautiful dishes too! Ohh but that rocking chair.. Absolutely stunning! I would have had a hard time walking away from that piece! I love collecting old wooden chairs & I've been looking for a rocker, perfect piece! The sconces were gorgeous Too! I always pick those up if they're at a reasonable price. I love using them most anywhere, alone, by a picture or in a gallery wall. Loll I'm guilty of not thinking where I'd put a piece🫣 If i love it i just buy it! I can almost always find a place, or maybe switch it out with another piece & donate that one. I goes.. that old amber hobnail lamp at the end of the antique store!😮 I have a lamp that has a brass teapot bottom with a milk glass hobnail shade like that which i love. Lamps are one of my weaknesses.. I'm obsessed with that one! I love amber glass, i know it would give a beautiful ambiant glow! I have one with a clear glass shade & have an amber bulb in it, so pretty! I love you new pantry cabinet! Its beautiful❤ The flowers on the table are so pretty! How sweet that someone gifted you the coffee canister you've been searching for😊 The bow hooks are so beautiful.. wow what a great deal! I love anything hand stitched & when i find pieces i try to pick them up. I just love the 4 pieces you found, love the size & the actual pictures, the things we collect.. just precious💙 Mushrooms seem to be making a come back in kitchen decor! My mom had her kitchen decorated in everything mushrooms in the 70's. Maranda the opening of this vlog was absolutely beautiful. Your new storage hutch is perfect. I bought a case of tomatoes in Bryson City NC on vacation in July and put up 25 jars of salsa. Going back Labor Day weekend and I want to get 2 boxes so more salsa and stewed tomatoes with garlic.
I love the storage cabinet. I got one from my Mama and refinished it. She called it her dish cabinet. My daughter now has It. She displays china that was her great aunts. I love the table in the middle of the kitchen. Such a sweet place!!!

I found a cabinet like that about 2 years ago at a vendor’s mall for $150.00. It was in great condition. I was told they are called pie safes. I keep casserole dishes and serving bowls up top. The two doors below I keep my hand mixer, cheese grater and onion chopper. The drawer has ample space for zipper storage bags, foil and parchment paper. It really freed up my cabinets. I so love your channel and I am so looking forward to your fall decorating. God bless😊

It’s funny I complain about having so many pink zinnias rather than more of the other colors, but after seeing your video I put lots of our pink zinnias in a big old white metal coffee pot. I mixed them with mimosa leaves. We went to an estate sale and I got paper butterflies on bendable metal stems so put two butterflies in the pot..covered the pot with pink tissue and a pink ribbon. I went take them to church. You made me live my pink zinnias!!! I love all of your finds. I hope I can one day find the brass hooks. I love your mushroom pieces. We have had a bad drought. The only thing we have left in our garden are tomatoes, a few peppers and one orange pumpkin and one white gourd. I love that you and your husband do things together. We do too. It is so pretty where you live. It looks like you have had rain. I hope you have a good school year. I know it must seem daunting to go back after summer. I have the same cabinet. I had to go look at mine just to be sure & yep it’s the same just unpainted and it was missing the glass- so I added sheer lace curtains. When I bought mine at an antique store 10 years or so ago it said it was a pie cabinet. I love the piece as much as you do!
Love your new piece of furniture. Goes nice in your room. Did you ever try switching the two hutches? Putting the green where the white is and white where the green is? Just a suggestion. 🤷♀ I always like to try different spots with my furniture. 😊
Yes I did! I should have mentioned that that’s how I originally had the space! The white cabinet sticks out too far in our walk way when we do that. Since the green cabinet is much thinner it gives us more space in our entrance ❤️
You should do a live maybe every other week to start where u sell your thrifted items. U would need a website where u upload the items right before u go live. U would need a way to pay on there as well. Eventually once u finish school u could do once a week. Since u r tech savvy I think u would do great!
So where is your antique booth? Also do you have any problem with using the yellow tomatoes? My grandmother always said that the yellow ones wouldn't can well because they didn't have enough acidity.

It’s funny I complain about having so many pink zinnias rather than more of the other colors, but after seeing your video I put lots of our pink zinnias in a big old white metal coffee pot. I mixed them with mimosa leaves. We went to an estate sale and I got paper butterflies on bendable metal stems so put two butterflies in the pot..covered the pot with pink tissue and a pink ribbon. I went take them to church. You made me live my pink zinnias!!! I love all of your finds. I hope I can one day find the brass hooks. I love your mushroom pieces. We have had a bad drought. The only thing we have left in our garden are tomatoes, a few peppers and one orange pumpkin and one white gourd. I love that you and your husband do things together. We do too. It is so pretty where you live. It looks like you have had rain. I hope you have a good school year. I know it must seem daunting to go back after summer. I am making tomato pies tomorrow with our remaining tomatoes. I want to do fried green tomatoes too, before they are completely gone. Thanks Maranda with the most gorgeous hair ever. ❤❤❤❤

I have the same cabinet. I had to go look at mine just to be sure & yep it’s the same just unpainted and it was missing the glass- so I added sheer lace curtains. When I bought mine at an antique store 10 years or so ago it said it was a pie cabinet. I love the piece as much as you do!

Miranda, you might try switching those cabinets around. The green cabinet may look better on the other wall because it’s shallower
I tried that originally!! The white cabinet sticks out too far in our walkway when we do that. Thank you for the idea though 💕

Yes I did! I should have mentioned that that’s how I originally had the space! The white cabinet sticks out too far in our walk way when we do that. Since the green cabinet is much thinner it gives us more space in our entrance ❤️

You should do a live maybe every other week to start where u sell your thrifted items. U would need a website where u upload the items right before u go live. U would need a way to pay on there as well. Eventually once u finish school u could do once a week. Since u r tech savvy I think u would do great!

How long does the canning food stay good. And do u have to boil everything for it to be canned first.
@@katyagabriel8505 It stays good for a very long time, most people say to eat it within 2 years! Yes most canning recipes require boiling and getting it up to a high temperature

@@rosasauceda6041 The canned goods last a long time unopened. We usually try to eat them in 2/3 years after canning but I’ve heard some people say they can last longer than that too.
