Why will my 2009 Tahoe not stream music thru Bluetooth? I can make and receive phone calls thru Bluetooth. My cheap $100 JVC stereo my wife bought for my truck can stream music perfectly. You would think a $50,000 Tahoe with the Bose DVD Sound System would at least stream music also... Is there a setting I am missing on the stereo?

I have GMC Denali 2013 with no fucking Bluetooth (same error like urs) connection error... I return to agency they told me we dont provide bluetooth on local car here (saudi arabia and all other gulf countries) fuckers .... I am now regret that i bought expensive top car from GM company without fucking bluetooth ... Next car i will get it from US directly with my specification needed.

If your vehicle has an inactive account onstar does not respond to either bluetooth or pair so apparently pairing is impossible. No videos address this issue. Wonder why the thumbs down. This video is worthless to some of us.
The problem with this video is that it is not correct for all models. I have a 2009 Chevy Tahoe and after you hold the button you have to say bluetooth before you say pair. The author should say exactly which model years his instructions are good for!!!
I hope you finally figured it out but if you didnt this is how, press the phone on your mirror , let it run through the french at the end of that you will We for yes or something else for no, say we, then it will start giving you Numbers say zero then let it talk again and it will say the we for yes and then something for no say we then it will say you have changed your language to English.

I have 2011 suburban with the same problem, u will need to buy a Bluetooth receiver from Amazon cost about $10 then u can play music from your phone

Good point Jason, this video was published in 2012. It's safe to assume that his advice is good for at least the 2012 models.
