Magnificent. I remember the Whale observatory at Depoe Bay at 8:10. Thanks for sharing this amazingly filmed video. Well done.

Driven this route many times with my dad (RIP), who lived in Lincoln City and later Depoe Bay.

Thank you for this! I moved from Oregon to the east coast four years ago, and omg I miss home so much. We went to the coast at least once a month, and I know and love every inch of this drive. Every curve, every wayside, every glimpse of ocean through the trees. It's like sitting down for a visit with an old friend. I subscribed so I can come back to this when I get homesick.

You'll be back haha. We came back after moving to upstate NY, then down to FL. from living just above Beverly Beach; @ about 10:56. Nothing like Oregon, land of unicorns & rainbows.

I grew up in Corvallis, before Lincoln City existed. They combined Nelscott, Ocean Lake, Delake,
Taft, Otis Junction, and two or three other towns. The high school is still called Taft. The best
places to eat were Pixie Kitchen and the Dorchester House. Depoe Bay was always worth a stop
and had an interesting, if small, aquarium. You could find sand-polished agates on Agate Beach.
Yaquina Head Lighthouse was (and is) worth seeing. Crab pots were always boiling on the
Newport wharf and you could take home three crabs for a dollar!

My dad was a volunteer at Taft High School. Helped many students get into a nursing program upon graduation. Some got into banking.

Vacationed there at the beach every year. Timeless memories that shall never come again, but I long to go back.

Ah, such a wonderful video of a route I've been on. Not many times, but enough times. Too bad you didnt stop along the way. Any ways, thank you for the video. It brought back good memories.

So! It is NOT always raining in coastal Oregon!!!! LOL!!!! My technicolor dream is to do the entire route by Can-am Spyder - Port Angeles Wa. to San Diego Ca. A most excellent video! Thanks for posting!

This video brought a tear to my eye as it brought back memories of the times I spent here from British Columbia Canada. The music accompanying the video was the icing on the cake. BTW what is the music you are playing?
