    This Acura production, this being my third visit and I'd been riding in one you made for my employee Sheyanne and I with happy success, strikes me as simply superb. A great collaboration between a high ratio of skilled human workers with the robotic technology, which is designed as I have suggested for maximum space efficiency so as to allow robotic parts and arms and human workers have full space and time to do their jobs fully and with finesse and then retract into an appropriate space while another team arm does its work. This Acura Production has reached groundbreaking excellence and deserves emphasis, investment, and perhaps even study by other companies if amenable arrangements present themselves in the Board's estimation.

    so Acura and Honda are literally just from the same factory unlike Toyota and Lexus.

      Acura is Honda's luxury brand just like Lexus is for Toyota.

      @@oneflewoverthecuckoosnest2823 not exactly, lexus has an entirely different production line even the underlying architecture is the same. for example, the QA and assembly portions use a different standard than toyota does. Only qualified engineers are allowed to touch lexus

      @@philw7835 Doesn't matter. Lexus is Toyota's luxury brand and Acura is Honda's luxury brand, doesn't matter who and how they are build.

      @@oneflewoverthecuckoosnest2823 i don't think i ever said Acura is NOT Honda's luxury brand. I think we are talking about different things entirely. Acura = Regular labor + premium parts. Lexus = Premium labor + premium parts. Thats what i'm declaring here.

    I own a 2020 RDX A-Spec. It has a disappointingly large amount of creaks, rattles and other interior noise from poor build quality and/or quality control. Do better, Acura.

      Where are your rattles coming from? side of passenger around glovebox? rear seats?

      I am with you on that. Bought a 2021 tlx aspec and the steering wheel creeks with any small bump or turn. Brought it to the dealership and they claim they tested other tlx's and that the creeks are normal.

      when did your problems start?

    • @casper8980
      @casper8980 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rezneba101 I would say after the steering rack replacement at 6,000 miles. I ended up finding lubricant leaking all down the steering column onto the break pedal and harnesses as well. The dealership had the car the last 4 days to replace the stereo harness. Speakers were crackling when hitting a bump or accelerating after FAKRA replacement. The FAKRA replacement resolved the issue for a couple months then came back. I guess they found loose grounds when replacing the harness. I asked about the leaking lubricant and was told excessive grease was used and when it gets hot in the car it leaks. Dealership claims they brought it to Acura's attention and they were told that's normal and to clean it. Only issue is dealer never cleaned it so it still is stained all under the steering wheel. Clicking is still there. It is the plastic aspec part of steering wheel and both sides where controls are and behind the steering wheel in the column where the normal key would go in (on top). About to just buy a heated steering wheel and see if that resolves the issue. Dealership keeps stating all tlx makes the noise so it's normal.

    Is the paint toxic or something?

      The air helmets you see them wearing are required by OSHA so you have your own self contained breathing supply. In the course of a day you probably won't breathe in enough paint fumes to hurt you but their also spraying that paint for more then just one day. Plus theirs that whole breathing in the vapors and having paint get into your lungs thing if your not wearing one. Those helmets are actually not something brought on by Covid.

      Yes it is. Long term exposure will lead to cancer. I'm actually surprised that the worker shown in the video isn't wearing a full coverall. Even though a little bit of paint gets through the skin, years of exposure to paint can't be good to your health... bottom line, take care of yourself.

      European inspiration means having it repaired 6 months after leaving the factory for thousands of dollars. No thanks.
