    Has anyone said that the "Joshs Frog" Scrubber is just a magic eraser lol

    I've been wanting to do bioactive enclosure for my crested geckos for a while. I just wasn't sure on how to clean it. I always thought that I had to take all the stuff out and put new ones, like the soil and hydro balls.

    Cool vid. I had wondered what clean up would be like for bio set up. I might give it a try.

    Been trying to start a fully bioactive enclosure but both my orders of clean up crew critters from Josh’s Frogs showed up dry, dead, and without any air holes.

    How's that taste, like a nice kale based health shake? 🤣😁🤣
    Seriously though, thank you for the informative and easy to follow video!

    Great vid! I don’t recall if you said what this tank might be for. Is it common for the leca/drainage layer to be so thick? Is it species dependent? I’ve not seen a layer this thick before and am not sure what the reason for it would be. Thanks!

      Hello! This tank houses Dart Frogs! The drainage layer in this vivarium is a bit thicker than normal - we usually recommend it to be about three inches deep.

    Great video! How do you make your pothos grow so well? Mine just stays the same size.

      Our best advice is to always make sure that the substrate stays damp. Additionally, they will also grow better and faster under a bright light.

    What do you do if you have small inhabitants like Mourning Geckos that can jump out & run away if you leave the top open for a long time?

    • @JoshsFrogs
      @JoshsFrogs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We would recommend placing them in a separate container!

    Ay yo why does your terrarium cleaner look like a magic eraser?

    • @marzipanmango
      @marzipanmango 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm guessing it's a plain melamine sponge, so it basically is a magic eraser, just without the added chemicals :P

    Can you keep a frog in a vivarium without isopods and springtails? Bugs give me the creeps. 😆

    • @thereidtidea8990
      @thereidtidea8990 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't have to make your vivarium bioactive. But keep in mind most frogs eat insects

    • @marzipanmango
      @marzipanmango 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You're gonna have to deal with flightless fruit flies if you want a frog; they're much worse than isopods and springtails imo :P
