Yes, for cinematic purposes, telephoto is more important. But for panoramic purposes, ultrawide is.

@@sovikdey4287 Srry, but have to confirm that it's real footage. even with F1.95 and 1/1.12" it can be done. Some grading masks that well. Also 118mm f4.1 does quite nice bokeh.

Gear does matter but u don't need thousands of dollars worth of gear. A good smartphone camera is good too. But u can't shoot like this on a 2010 phone camera
