One thing I wouldn't trust is spare parts and warranty work. I once had an Isuzu pick up truck. A neighbour reversed into the passenger side . It needed a new wing and passenger front door also the trim around the wing and a side indicator lens . The dealer couldn't get all the parts and after six months their insurance company paid out for part of the cost of a new truck. The one they wrote off was only nine months old when it was written off and cost me £14000 after vat . I have seen availability of spares for BYD parts make the cars scrap after minor accidents.

the only good thing with those toys is that maybe real car brands will release lil bit from prices...but i pretty believe those are not too reliable
