The girls in the King's family were quite typical in Russia; they're beauty is deeply appreciated. To this day, young Russian women, under 30, are nearly half the time, beautiful to look at. It's uncanny.
Their beauty was unfortunate for them. Rasputin seduced every one of them to keep them preoccupied while he orchestrated their assassination. He later reemerged in the public eye by the name Adolf Hitler. These 2 men had drastically different personal styles, facial shadows and highlights, but their underlying bone structure was identical. Hitler was allegedly a German Joe Blow from Kokomo. He didn't ascend to Germany's highest office without some extraordinary creds to his name, publicized or not. At least if these Imperial women were ugly, this clandestine op would've included a built-in punishment for him. But no. Eva Braun was much more effective in this regard.
Well, Nicholas II looked pretty like his mother, who was from Dane and German descent ; and Empress Alexandra was typically German (Hessian, Rhine, Saxe Coburg, Gotha, etc…). As such, I am not sure the children looked "typically" Russian 😉 But, to be honest, the European royal dynasties used to mix with each other to such an extent that none of their members could look "typical" (the best example is the resemblance between George V and Nicholas II : who is English ? Who is Russian ?)
@@heliedecastanet1882 Nicholas II "looked pretty"? You don't like them. You are of the tribe which rejoices in their assassination. If they were culturally indistinguishable from Western Europeans maybe they weren't assassinated at all. @@Joe-kq5sw Yes, yes, they did! Take a guess, who the "Soviets" were. Were did they come from? From Mars? No, they were the same military, who first served the Tsar, then the Bolsheviks. The Tsar taught them, how to handle things, so they continued. So, who started all this in the first place?
Do the French mourn Louis 16th? Hardly. Revolutions arise due to the impoverishment of the people and the weakness of power. The Romanovs were removed precisely for this reason.
This is not entirely true. The deep and fundamental cause of revolutions is the establishment of a new regime that serves the interests of certain individuals, while hunger and poverty are merely a cover to justify a political coup and gain popular support. Of course, we do not deny that the empire suffered from some problems, most of which were beyond the control of the Tsar. For example, famines were sometimes caused by weather conditions, just as happened during the French Revolution. In general, the Russian Revolution was the result of several internal and external factors, and we cannot blame the Tsar for everything. Something, especially since we know that he tried his best to carry out his duties with full sincerity until the end.
Impoverishment has always existed, but revolution occurred in France and Russia and elsewhere not because it was the first time that they were experienced poverty, rather it was the first time the country had a strong and solid middle class that had the means to overthrow the old power structure and take hold of it. War has increasingly become Capital intensive, you cannot win wars without sufficient concentrations of capital and manufacturing. You cannot generate sufficient concentrations of capital and manufacturing without rule of law, which necessarily overrides the privileges of the nobility and the monarchy. The monarchies established rule of law favorable to commerce in order to win wars, but rule of law allowed the establishment of a middle class and ultimately an oligarchy which possessed far more power than the monarchy who's dominions were based off an old and obsolete feudal economic model. Nonetheless, autocracy over imperial domains will be the new Norm soon. Hereditary monarchy and secession via primogeniture only is viable in a low Capital environment.
Not entirely true. The Tsar's decisions were not stupid. He was a far-sighted person, but he was under a lot of pressure internally and externally and was betrayed. You should not judge him without knowing the circumstances he faced. He was an efficient leader, but without a loyal and honest environment he would not achieve anything, and this is what happened unfortunately. This is not my personal opinion, but rather the opinion of his contemporaries and historians

The anglo-saxons were surprisingly good at eliminating continental competitors. I'm not talking about the English monarchy, I'm talking about transcontinental bankers who today are blackrock, jpmorgan, US federal reserve. They dissolved the british empire in order to strengthen the states, just as they had previously moved to england from holland, to holland from venice, to venice probably from Israel. I don’t think that the craze of one austrian artist against the jews was completely unfounded. If he had been weak, he would not have taken command of his armed forces from incompetents in August 1915. It was precisely the betrayal of untrustworthy and incompetent professionals that forced him to abdicate. Unfortunately, he did not have time to leave with his family. The Grand Duchesses cousin Lord Louis Mountbatten said that photos of the four sisters didn't do them justice they really were that beautiful.

Maybe they secretly abdicated because Communism was more suitable for their economic and geopolitical interests. That's the important issue. There are people in developing countries with royal titles living in ghettos. Most people would gladly trade their title for actual riches if given the chance. Who knows really?
@@heliedecastanet1882 I think one underlying purpose of WW2 was to drag China and other East Asian nations into the African colonial system. Perhaps Russia's German-Danish Royals agreed that it would help to establish a common bond with China by converting Russia to Communism. China is just kind of naturally communist anyway because their topography requires a collective effort to cultivate food. And Russia was similar enough to unite this whole region under one similar regime.
@@heliedecastanet1882 The Romanovs were one thing, but actual indigenous Russians did not always fare well under Communist authority. No one would have believed in the last years of the nineteenth century that this world was being watched keenly and closely; that they were scrutinised and studied, serene in their assurance of their Empire.
Yet intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic regarded with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans. And early in the twentieth century came the great disillusionment.

It’s so sad that they wouldn’t have just spared the children at least. Only heartless people could harm this beautiful family. Even their captors grew to like them, that just proves they where truly a wonderful family
Did the tsar spare the workers and their families on the 9th of January 1905, when his troops opened fire at the peaceful assembly, which came to ask him for relief of their hard conditions? Did he spare peasants, whose revolts were wiped out by artillery fire? Did he think a lot about Russian families, when he senselessly plunged into WWI? He never thought of anybody except himself and his family. As a result, a moment came when there was nobody to protect them

In history class I do this, in everyday life I do this. I do not go to videos with what I believe has false information to fight the people who believe it, let people believe what they want too. Anastasia was seventeen, did she deserve it? Maria only wanted love, to have fun, a life, did she deserve it? None of them did. But if you don’t agree with the tsar at least consider the other lives lost. Even their servants died. It was a tragedy, and it was messy, and brutal. Be more considerate

因为杀掉沙皇的是共产党,如果是别的什么人,或许今天也就没人要纪念他们了。。。

If he had been weak, he would not have taken command of his armed forces from incompetents in August 1915. It was precisely the betrayal of untrustworthy and incompetent professionals that forced him to abdicate. Unfortunately, he did not have time to leave with his family.
