I just want to say thank you very much I didn't feel like reading this huge sheet of paper that comes with this device so I figured I'd see if anybody made a video and you did thank you so much God bless
Hi rmenga, Thank You So Much For Your Instructional Video Of This Product. You're An Excellent Instructor Which I Find Lacking In Most Instructors I've Encountered. You're Clear, Reasonably Paced And Your Video View Is Great! Thanks Again!!!!
thank you, this was extremely helpful, and I was unaware of many of the features on this device. Will definitely be listening again to your walkthrough. Do you have any videos of features, such as downloading the audio onto your computer and making podcasts or editing the audio files? thank you again
You have an absolutely beautiful speaking voice. Clear , nice tone, sound. Are you a teacher because you explain things well and with that voice would make a great teacher, news reporter, radio announcer, interviewer, speaker, etc. Questions i have: 1. if do not set recording time limit...will it play all night (if you WANT to use it to have a recording something that will be playing all night) . 2) For same purpose as #1: does it use voice activation (so it only records when there is sound) OR will it record in real time and record even the silent time ...(if I want it that way...as an option). and last question: 3) IF i want to replay something i just recorded before continuing to record more , is there a direct replay button for that? Thank you for a great instruction vid and if you happen to see and answer my questions.
My Sony recorder is suddenly not listing files when I plug it into my computer, although I can, however, play these files on my recorder. So, the files are in my recorder - somewhere - but I can't download them to my computer. This happened after I put in new batteries. Thoughts?
The result wouldn't be an overloaded sound but it would be a bit of a mess. For your intended purpose, the Tascam DR-40X is a _much_ better choice. It's a handheld recorder with 4 separate audio tracks and has two microphone inputs on it that can accept 1/4" or XLR in addition to the two condenser microphones on top.
Sorry I might be a little slow😬 But if I’ve got this device I would be able to record my phone calls - for like interviews and so on? Or do I need more like microphones or something else to connect the device to the iPhone?
It can use regular AAA alkaline or rechargeable NiMH AAA batteries, but the manual says the PX370 cannot recharge batteries, so you would have to take the batteries out and recharge them with something else. It would be better to use plain alkaline AAA batteries. The PX370 barely uses any power and the batteries last a long time.
The PX370 can auto-start and auto-stop recording based on sound level. Instructions for this are on page 46 of the manual. Sony calls it a "VOR" function. See it here www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/W001/W0014645M.pdf

Do you think I could go into this from a Yamaha mixer to record live vocal & guitar performances or will it overload?

Can you connect a lav mic reciever to it?
How do you engage the voice record option>? Thx
Thanks
how do you transfer files, the IC just buffers on connecting?
Can you add a wireless mic to this?
Does anyone know how to disassemble this? 😬 I have a corroded battery stuck in the chamber
Do you have to have a battery in it or can you plug the usb part into a wall charging brick to charge it?

if you connect the headphones, can you hear realtime without lag what you are recording?
I have this model, and yes, I record rehearsals with it, and it appears to be no lag, or not noticeable.
How can I rewind my recorder anytime I try it, it takes me to the next file.
I am looking for a "dog barking" activation recorder to record nuisance dog. Does this recorder start and stop automatically when dog barks?

So it's not voice activated recording as I intended to buy😅
Yes it does has that function, it's called VOR. See page 46 of the manual www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/W001/W0014645M.pdf
Too backward, the TX660 is the best for now, lol
Well this one is $20 and the one you mention is over $100 what do you expect?
