I think the Rain looks Real Enough, The only catch with the scene is the trees in the Background are perfectly still. At least to me the Limbs should swat some. But As I said the Rain looks awesome and the guy with the Umbrella is great too!

Wow this is amazing! Thanks for the tutorial.
Can you also make a tutorial for Rain on a still image of a Person (closeup) without the umbrella? Thanks 🙌

It would be nice if you could include the photograph you began with so we could try this out using the same image.

You should be able to do it in resolve if you are familiar with resolve tools

That should take me 10 years to do. I'll go with a cloudy day.

The main issue is that After Effects is not the right software for this kind of compositing work and here it shows all its limitations. Hat off to the person who did this demo, but a node compositor like Autodesk Flame or Nuke would have gotten a better result in a much more elegant way.

Thank you for the feedback! We used After Effects because it is the most commonly used software by our audience!

I watched the movie The Woman in the Window these days, and I was ashamed of the rain effect in one of the scenes.

Too confusing and complicated I didn't bother to finish your video you should try to ( simplify ) it

There is nothing confusing or complicated about this tutorial. It's well explained and easy to follow. Making realistic scenes just can't be done in a few simple steps (as you can see in your own videos). Maybe you should get better 😉
