Did anyone else think Phil's plan was bad? I found myself agreeing with Talbot on it being too risky. Honestly I don't think it would have been far-fetched for Nadeer to have set a trap even without getting a tip from Radcliffe. Seemed sloppy for Phil.
I'm sure there's a trope out there where the smart leader suddenly makes incredibly bone-headed decisions, just to help drive the story along because the villain is too weak.

Yeah the writing of the CW shows is really mediocre: Barry: ''I swear to you on the lives of my parents I will save you.'' YOUR PARENTS ARE DEAD BARRY. And Flash is considered as the best CW superhero show. It's filled with illogical plotlines and plotholes. Also great asspulls. I'll never forget their magical magnet device or everything some asshole comes walking into starr labs with 0 security. It's also gimmicky with a speedster villain EACH season. With him being a mystery EACH season. Sure, I know that the flash has lots of speedster villains in the comics. But he also has other type of villains and they never use them as big season villains. They could've easily made some other villain be a danger to Barry because of his intellect. Setting traps for barry as a way to fight him. But no, It's always a fast speedster. AoS has had organisations, spies, aliens, inhumans, geniuses etc. as villains. So much more variety. Every season also feels differently. The characters have lots of depth. The characters have gotten great arcs. Just look at Daisy. From Skye to Daisy. So much difference. Just look at Fitz and Simmons. They have grown so much.
I agreeeeeee, i think AoS the best thing that happened to the MCU. Just my opinion I'm more hyped for a new episode than a new movie, and the lasting impression for AoS lasts longer for me than the movies ...

The May scenes in this episode reminded of the simulation episode of Rick and Morty. I was just waiting for Aida to ask Radcliffe about his appointment to check the discoloration of his butthole flaps.
I think they missed a huge opportunity to bring Ward back at the end, even if it was JUST for a simulation. Woulda hit harder, IMO. Never really cared for the Bahrain bit. If a Netflix character were to show up in AoS, I feel like it HAS to be Luke Cage. Of the three we've seen so far, he's the most publicly known, it's known amongst the public that he is enhanced... so where the hell is SHIELD to take him in and force him to sign the Sokovia Accords? And atleast one more movie character needs to show up before this show ends. At this point, it's blatant ignorance by the writers to think Coulson can be out in public around the Director of SHIELD and not think that someone from the Avengers would notice.

AoS is the best network comicbook show hands down. Flash and the rest of it's kind are too gimmicky, badly written and extremely dumb at times. I love dumb fun, so I still watch them. But they aren't on the level of writing of AoS. It has far better writing and it feels more cohesive.
