    Hey, you need to talk to LMR. If you are being honest in your videos, they are making you look like a liar. I ordered the contour fans, they were supposed to fit a foxbody, I had to trim the shroud, it wouldn’t fit the foxbody radiator, and had no hardware with it! So don’t advertise it as coming with hardware.

    I got to thank you man! When you first started the calypso project you re-lit the fire. I still have my first 88 Gt from highschool. It’s been in storage for over 10 years. It’s probably in the same or worse condition as the calypso when you started. I was finally able to find a donor car. I have been through months of searching for the right car. So many people have no morals any more when it comes to car deals. But it looks they all fell apart for a reason because this past weekend I was able to pick up a 90Gt running and driving with black interior. It has minor crash damage in the front and the towers are completely gone with rot. I’m actually thinking of documenting everything with a TH-cam series like yourself. Even if it’s just for me to have a video journal to always remember the journey. Can’t wait to get started. Got to thank you again for everything you’ve done with this channel. It’s truly

    I've been using junkyard Countour/Cougar fans on my Mustangs with the FAL 31165 controller for years. $30 for the fan and $100 for the controller and it outperforms any aftermarket setup. I prefer this soft touch controller as you dont want the fans running all the time and the controller allows me to adjust the temp they come on as well as not shocking the electrical system. I do like those brackets as I've had to fab up my own. You may want to run an on/off switch off the relay pin inline to the key on source. That way you can turn the fan on after start up and also be able to manually turn it on and off such as when on the highway. I didn't see how you mounted the overflow but I mounted the original in it's stock location on mine.

  • @RUNINAGT
    @RUNINAGT ปีที่แล้ว

    Did you use the y block to hook the sending unit? Just installed these using the y block and I'm not getting accurate reading that match my gauge. Which is causing my fans to not come on as should. The DD app shows the car running much cooler than my gauge now, about a 30- 50 degree diff.
    Confused. I know the gauge sender is on the intake, but should it be reading that much off?

  • @Bcsader1
    @Bcsader1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I didn’t scroll through all 120 comments but I wanted to ask with the brackets did you end up with a 1/2” gap between the shroud and radiator on the passenger side. I have oem contour fans from a junkyard and when I installed the brackets I have a gap on both sides between the shroud and radiator but it is bigger on the passenger side. This will allow airflow from the fans to come in from the side and not through the radiator. Is it the same with the LMR fan. I’m pretty disappointed with the fitment when the brackets are $100.

The MS has plenty of outputs to allow it to be wired this way.
