This sounds like fairy tale ballet music at its finest. Sir Gardiner and the Monte Carlo National Orchestra deserve praise for their excellent performance of this orchestral masterpiece by a composer better known for his operas.
I'm beginning to think Massenet's seven orchestral suites might just be desert island fare. This fourth really is excellent in underlining the seeming facility with which he composed, each part perfectly structured and brimming with creative energy, even the Angelus. The reading uploaded here is new to me and might just have the edge over the Ossonce Naxos version I have, not that I'll be letting that one go!

Indeed!
These suites are fluent rather than profound, but truly enjoyable - minor miracles of music. The seventh is my favorite. Hoomeyow!!
(0:00~) I. Marche
(3:46~) II. Air de ballet
(6:35~) III. Angelus
(11:40~) Iv. Fete boheme.
:) I like the Angelus especially.
