- Whats up everyone! We got the chance to get our hands on the all new 2024 Triumph Daytona 660! Does it carry the name like the models of the past? Find out here in this episode exactly what we thought about it! #triumph
"the first generation daytona is one of the best bikes ever built". My man, the first generation of the Daytona was released in 1967. I can't stand these ignorant TH-camrs who think the Daytona name started with the 2007 Daytona 675.
I see a man of culture who knows about the history of Bikes and manufacturers. One like for you.
When someone refers to "generations" of Daytona - they are referring exclusively to the 3 generations of the 675. This is an extremely common way of referring to the 675 models within the Daytona 675 community (the biggest one) to distinguish the models quickly. You aren't special knowing that there was more than one model of Daytona. Most people know this and I assure that he does too.
I hvae a Trident 660 for the past 2 years & love it.....I may upgrade to this Beast!
I hope they make a 765 Daytona Moto2 to fill in the 765 lineup. I don’t want to rip a liter bike around the track but I still want 150mph down a 3/4 mile straight away.
EDIT: I just wanted to say I love your brand/branding. You are always doing epic stuff.
Appreciate that! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
they did make it , and no one bought one..........
@@pinkpanther8932 it was limited production AND a KungFlu bike. They released it in a terrible market.
@@pinkpanther8932 the only ones my dealer had were the ones being delivered.
Designwise, I prefer this than a cbr650r
Irony? But they look exactly the same ...
Seems like a great sport bike for under $10k for us that don’t need triple digit speeds.
Could you turn on that bike
Very cool you got ahold of this. I think this bike will sell well in this class although I find the street triple the way to go in terms of everything except fairings and it costing only 1.2k more CAD makes it no brainer but regardless this bike looks great and I'd love to try one at my local dealer.
It’s definitely worth throwing a leg over one!
7 generations of the daytona guy.. I've had three of the generations of daytonas
😂 I know I know. I should have clarified but 1st generation of the pure sportbike version of the Daytona is what I meant. The older generations didn’t have the insane evolution that the 2006-2012 had
@@EverythingEmpire I don't mean to be rash but yes they did lookup 2005 daytona 650
I had an 09 Street Triple for 5 years and loved it. Made cheap to the price point.
An amazing do it all fantastic looking bike. I've read that the suspension is a bit soft but on our crap British roads it's better soft than rock hard
Exhaust?
Always good Content thats real cool you got your hands on it . 🏍💨💨💨💨
Thanks 👍
@@EverythingEmpire I know you said the "660" is chartreuse, but would you call it more of a yellow or green? Trying to decide between this colour or the red haha.
@@onaimpulse6346 Yeah Like a green tint for sure but looks good! I like it over the red
@@EverythingEmpire Ahhhh see I can't stand green! I wish it was triumph racing yellow! I might just buy the black and have a decal made for it.
the 660 and other oem has one key figure. 95hp & below. It makes it A2 compatible. Thats it. Thats the reason.
All that talk and not once did we see it started or ridden, common 😮
Bet Ya ! Triumph will update the 765 RS with a Fairing ? I would buy one if they did 👍
Sharp looking bike and good review. Can't wait to see Ernie abuse this thing!
It’s coming! 🙌🏼
Awesome insight looking forward to see it morph into your weapon of choice 🎩
Hey, Nice video !
This bike catches my eye. I can't wait to see it in real life because I'm afraid it will be too small like the Trident 660. I'm 1.85 meter tall(6 feet). what do you think about that ? :o
I’m 6’0 as well and it wasn’t bad. For me Street Triples and Daytonas have always felt small and nimble and that’s what I loved about them most. Easy to throw around. That being said I think you’d fit just fine unless your looking for something bigger
Ride review please bro❤
the 675 was hardly the first generation Daytona .
First generation pure sportbike
@@EverythingEmpire There have been many Triumph sports bikes given the name Daytona . Try googling
I like this bike , this a d the cbr 650 r are what im liking
Bike looks fire 🔥 😮
Yeah, it’s just under 10 grand
For 201kg/443lbs, did it feel heavy?
The dash looks meh along with those clipons and the windshield, other than that everything looks fine
Good value
660 - needs to be Euro 5 compliant- that's why. Not necessarily for price points.
Why do none of these review videos not have any audio of the bike???
Front end looks like the cbr650r
Hole bike dose
Does it have intake sound?
Superbe vidéo merci ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Did you not get the keys with it.
Music 🎵?
You look like Nicky hayden😂
tail seems too short..... 2017's design is better..
it's a good move by Triumph. Genuine 600cc class super sports don't sell anymore because the people that can afford them don't want them and the people that want them can't afford them.
Looks like cbr650r
675 > 660
This bike will not be cheap lmao, triumph sucks with that
Triumph actually prices its bikes very well especially this new model being the second cheapest in its class
@@radicalkonrad765 if its really gonna be 10k, thats rad. I just have a hard time seeing that.
@@tgiby9062 it's 9.2k USD
It’s actually going to be 9200$. Can’t beat the amount of bike you get for that price!
@EverythingEmpire it's a good deal forsure, the stripple is only 11.2k CAD aswell
It looks so boring.
I HATE plastic frame cover, and all kind of cheap illusion to hide a poor made quality.
Triumph 660 range is just CRAP, to make big money with newcomers, thinking they are buying same quality than Street triple... Street triple is fantastic bike, high quality, high performance, fantastic sound and sensations. 660 = cheap and heavy frame, cheap suspensions, boring exhaust sound, boring motor etc... nothing to compare.
10.000 bucks to buy the name "Daytona" but you dont get a real Daytona bike, just an ILLUSION.
I dont pay for illusion. Sorry to Triumph marketing., very bad strategy = decline in 2023. And you go on with a crappy fake Daytona...
The dash and the clip ons are straight up ugly....the only rider pov and its an eye sore reason why im never considering this bike
