I loved the climb up the rocks to the top, and that swimming hole at the bottom of the falls seemed perfect. Capping it off with a cold beer in the cold river was excellent! Thanks, Eric. The view from above with Lillie (sp) & your friend swimming looked really cool in that clear water. 100° here, about an hour west of Ft worth, Texas today. Could use some cold water to chill in. Great scenery!

Good idea for safety thinking to bring a beer with ya'. In case you have a problem in the water you can use it as a flotation device. :.) I bet the fishing is good there.
You gotta check out the eastern Sierras some day, even though it's California it seems more like Montana or Alaska, I'm spending the next months here and yeah I'll have videos but the best way to get an idea what it's like is to follow the Facebook group called US 395 / Owens valley. We have an LTVA kind of like the winter time of LTVA in Quartzsite , $300 allows you to stay in 5 BLM campgrounds from April until November, but there's so much more free camping and better places around that most people don't even bother with the LTVA......... Oh and did I mention 70s and 80s in the summer
