When we came out with the first Cisco built IP Phone (7960) we used samples downloaded from the CUCM with the exception of Chirp 1 and Chirp 2 which are generated at run-time. The male "Are you there?" ringtone is me. Your phone system admin can upload custom ringtones. If you have an old tool Cisco released called "Phone Suite" it allowed users to customize their own ringtones. Phone Suite also had some modern ring tones that were professionally done when it came out (maybe 10 years ago). We did contemporary ringtones a few years ago that are also used on our Telepresence systems and I believe were also put on the newer CUCM systems.
Alex Shimmin Unfortunately Chirp 1 and Chirp 2 are calculated inside the DSP on the phone at run-time, so they do not exist as files. You would have to record one of the phones playing that ringtone to capture it.

I worked in a 24 hr office on night shift and occasionally I’d change a coworker’s phone to the female “Are you there?” At max volume just as a mildly harmless prank for day shift. Good laughs. Also, if you have an office number (multiple phones ring at once) having one on Saxophone 1 and another on Saxophone 2 produces humorous results.

Props to the "chime" tone as it's the one I've chosen and is the least grating. We like to change coworkers' phones to the "are you there?" though when they go on vacation so they have a nice surprise to come back to...

you may think they suck but you may not know that Cisco's arent actually bad - they definitely have a broader selection than most other desk phone units. and even if they did suck - they would still be the best desk phone money can buy (and heaps easier to manage)
Oh I am running on Avaya now and yes. Cisco hardware is super easier to manage compared to Avaya, but yeah. The ringtones were pretty horrendous back then, but Avaya is def worse.
