  • In this video, I talk about JB Weld SteelStik.
I have a metal television stand with wheels that needed to be repaired.
One of the TV stand's wheels kept coming off, so I used JB Weld SteelStik to bond the wheel to base of the TV stand.
JB Weld SteelStik is a putty used to bond metals and other materials. It is very easy to use.
You can use JB weld to glue metal to metal. It forms a very strong bond.
    It is truly remarkable.
You can use JB Weld to bond steel, copper, bronze, aluminum, and other materials.

I am doing a search for metal to metal glue and came across Suavington. The man in the video is so handsome I lost sight of the glue! 😅Well, just a friendly complement.....moving on to other glue alternatives because I need a glue today (JB Weld SteelStik not in local store). Although I probably will not grace this page again, thanks for being here for those who need the information.

Did I see threads on that caster? How about a flat washer on each side of that stand opening and a nut to tighten it? 🤔🥴

    Will that work on aluminum?

JB Weld used to be great, however like most companies the quality has suffered for a higher profit. Im old.....been using JB Weld for decades.....and i once glued a flattened beer can to the side of a motor cycle engine case in a gas station parking lot.....and filled it with oil and drove home 2 hrs later, and the engine stayed that way for weeks till i got a new clutch housing. Last week i used it to fix a bolt hole....and it fell to pieces as i screwed in the bolt after drying for 24 hrs. I now use a 2 part putty thats used for gas tanks and oil pans. Dont recall the name, but its in any auto parts store. I have drilled and tapped it, and screwed in bolts with no issue . Im sure someone knows the name of it

With any epoxy, you want to mix in shavings of the material being repaired. This makes for a much stronger bond whether it be wood or metal.

The steel stik is only 900 PSI. It’s 6x weaker than their original cold steel 2-part system. If you want strength - stick to the original.
