Honestly this is just really beautiful, its simple but you can feel the tragedy- its dificult to put into words how touching patroclus and achilles' entire story itself is and the entirety of this song hits just as hard

I recommend it to all my friends who are willing to listen, and I loved the lyrics even before I read the Song of Achilles. Now that I read the book, this became even more beautiful than it was the first time I listened to it. I learnt this song on ukulele to sing sometimes, it's been a comfort song. The lyrics remind me of someone who you can say is the Achilles to my Patroclus, and I've taken comfort in the melody and the lyrics of this song.
