TIP 1 > Never delete your curves. [1] They take up no space (just put them on a separate layer and turn off!) [2] You might need to make change, so you'll save time and accuracy by not rebuilding them.
.
TIP 2 > When you repeat a command, your narrator-bot does not mention what is happening. If you are OUTSIDE of a command, then by hitting spacebar, enter, or RMB you will repeat the very last command.
Thank you so much
Yoooo. thank you man.... Saved my life
if you delete your curves by accident, select your surface and type 'extractwireframe'
thank u man i liked your works its fantastic ,it help me to learn the rhino
Thank you for your video!!!
I can express ideas in Rhino more than better before!!!
awesome.
Great tutorial as always, very well done,👍🏻
Thank you
This is what I call TUTORIAL!
Great
Amazing! More tutorials for grasshopper, please!
At 3:24, even after setting the z coordinate, the middle three curves are not becoming planar.
same problem
@@nischalejardar9218 just use dup border > join > patch
How can we solve it?
Select the six curves (the three arcs and then the little nub extensions) and use then do the set point command with them rather than the vertices. That worked for me.
thank you so much for useful video
Great!!, thanks a lot for sharing!!
Thank you for support
good jop
Nice tutorial.
One question, if I blend surface between two edges I get reversed twist, altough one of the surfaces blended right way, other two did not . Flip command does not work in this case nor I am not able to change the direction other way as well.
I had the same problem. I worked out that which coordinates the surface blends to depends on which half of the curve you select. as in, there is a midpoint along each line. when you start the blend surface and select the first line you will invariably select a point on the line which falls on one side of its midpoint, when you select the next line you are blending, make sure you select side of its mid point you want to blend towards. its difficult to describe but intuitive when you try in.
@@Bohemianism89 You are a life saver
Awesome! Would’ve liked to see how you added the mullions to the windows. Was that also done with Rhino or was it Grasshopper?
Thanks, since this is just a Rhino tutorial, I only included the part modeled with Rhino in the tutorial. I made the window details with GH,
@Yabets Jima yes waiting for this...
Good teacher 👍👍
Thank you for support
Really useful! thanks very much!
Great job Adam 👍
Thank you
Greate, awesome. thanks
WOOOW ASTONISHING WORK!!! what are your opinons of sketchup? do you prefer Rino? its nice that you have all the built-in components with Rino!
Sketchup is a very powerful program, but working with curves is easier in Rhino
@@AdamArchh how much more difficult is Rhino vs Sketchup? cause I've basically mastered sketchup but never even begun work in Rhino.. but id love to start! ..
@@ThatOneArchie SketchUp 3/10 - Rhino 5/10
@@ThatOneArchie If you can master Sketchup, you can master Rhino too.
It appears a little daunting at first, because of the hundreds of commands/tools
but of these i only use 25 commands for literally everything.
its also free for 90 days, which is plenty for starters
@@randomtux1234 just crack it from the get go, no point to use the free trail
Are you telling me that i should not learn to use Sketchup ...
Yes
Are u meshing Saydnaya prison
thank you so much👍
Thank you too
thank you. I would like to see the next video, how to make windows.
Thank you, use the Grasshopper for detailing
Hello Adam, thank you very much for your tutorials. I have a Mac and can't find the "arctic display mode" nor the "vertex selection" option. Do you know why or where are they? Thank you very much.
Hi thanks. sorry, i never used a mac
Please make video on how to use set point

Hey how did u made the top into planer surface
keren...broo ❤
Thank you
Whether it is feet and inches or meters it will be more useful
@5:28 how did he draw a polyline on surface ?? whenever i tried it`s coming as planer
Hi, the line wasn't created on the surface, it was drawn between the curve segment. Since ‘’Project’’ is active, the line you draw is drawn on the CPlane. Disable the project (from the bottom/middle) and draw it.
Thank you 🌸🌸
Thank you too
2:30 at this step when you edit the vertices it edit the hole model but for me it just edit the vertex of the large rectangle ..second the planar surface command not working
I mean the lofted area didnt join with the blended surfaces
...
PlanarSrf only works on planar and fully closed curves. So you have to make all 3 curves planar. If you still can't. Use the EdgeSrf command.
did you figure it out? i'm having the same problem, just the square moves
same problem
Şükela!
Hi. Why does it perform the opposite of what is in the training when I use blend surface ?
From one of our followers: FutureLuxury
- I had the same problem.
@@AdamArchh TNX a LOOOOT
Amazing!
Thank you
Why dont you make one part and use polar array with 3 numbers. Even it is good to use flow surface with history on.
Exactly!! I was think the same. I have used polar array instead and got better result. Didn't require to adjust using vertices.
Do you have a tutorial on this please? Cause i have a problem with the vertices step
nice
Thank you
last in the video your model is moving around what's tha command for ?
Turntable
Try to do this in Fusion 360 ...
Hi Adam, it won't let me select the vertices and I have selected ctrl and shift, what am I doing wrong?
at minute 2:38 it's my problem
the last paneling grid that is not in TUT would you plase explain it next time .
We add the details at the end with Grasshopper. It was just a Rhino tutorial.
HELLO
AT MIN 2:39 when i edit vertex it moves only the selected point the curve did not change how can i fix it ? thank you
the loft part and the blendsurface part are not connected
Hi, First
Right click the Record History
Select Always Record History
Now model again, problem will be solved
@@AdamArchh thank you very much it works
Nice
Thank you
hi, Adam, I can't figure out why the Planarsrf won't work, says "curve must be closed and planar"
In the previous stage, we synchronized the points in the z direction with the setpt command (or set xyz coordinate). PlanarSrf won't work if you haven't done this correctly. If you do these and still have problems, use the EdgeSrf command, but you should be aware that the surface is not planar.
@@AdamArchh I see, I didsetpt command (or set xyz coordinate). but still not working. Thanks very much , I will try the EdgeSrf command
Good luck
good practice is to set grid units in options
and snap to objects on, then your curves are not visually closed and apparently valid,
but actually closed and really valid

In scale per minute 1.12 I couldn't do it.
May i know which units you are working sir
Units are meters
In The setup im from Holland
I love the Netherlands. I can't wait to visit.
Adam,my GOD!
Facade???
could we do it with archicad?
I don't use Archicad but I think you can do this with any architectural software.
Im new to rhino and i cant get the crtl shift vertices can u help me adam
You can, but why would you? It's far easier to do anything computational with Rhino and GH and then export the final to Archicad. I'm speaking as an Archicad user myself.
What software is this?
It’s called Rhino
hey my blend surface command is wrecked i think. The new curved surface is twisted way more than shown in this video. Anyone knows why?
nevermind i got the answer from the comments. thanks
Good luck

Why do I all our buildings have to look like fidget spinners or like alien sex toys made out of out of stainless toys? It´s so jarring and hardly ever fits with ever the surrounding cityscape at all
The design of the buildings is not ours. You just use these projects to prepare modeling tutorials. We don't know much about sex toys.
