Its so cool for you guys in the US to be able to get these for so cheap. I'm located in Serbia, these go for around 30% more. And another thing, for a 3L engine for example, yearly registration is around 2k, for newer models. Which is crazy. For a 2.0 liter engine, its around 400 bucks yearly. And to put things in perspective, the average salary after tax is around 10k per year.
IDK, but 30k BMW or Mercedes means used. Used - means it got it's ass kicked harder than any other car out there. At least here in UA they typically are almost dead when sold around the price.

Sad thing is, in the Netherlands most of these cars cost 20% to 30% more. Prices for cars are insane here.
Some are even 60 to 70k like the q5 macan and bmw suv. The mercedes glb is also about 50 to 60k

You're right! Honestly the car scene in philly is pretty mediocre compared to my time in Toronto. 2019 GLBs are between 30-33k around the East Coast - but with the AMG trim it will be a bit more - but way more worth it.
