Thanx for great video. Just keep in mind that the CraftSim addon does not see where the reagents comes from. I crafted Feast of the Midnight Masquerade a couple of days ago and had farmed some of the reagents my self. The addon said I would have a loss of around 15k gold by crafting 20 times when I in reality had a profit of around 75k gold. This mainly because I had farmed all the Kaheti Slum Sharks my self and this is a huge tipping point. You need 5 sharks to make 1 craft and 1 shark costs somewhere between 790 and 805 gold per 1 on US realms. So this alone saved me about 79+k gold in expenses. From the 20 crafts I did I got 147 Feasts (without any additions you get 5 from 1 craft) when adding the Secret Sauce as Finishing Reagent. The sauce was also almost free as I bought 1 of the ingredients for Kej.
Hi! You cannot include farmed items in crafting profit, that will be profit u made from farming. You traded time for farmed sharks😃 but gz good profit!
I get it is just a game, but so many claim 'this is good' when you don't include the 'free mats' if you farmed anything you need to consider, your time and the value of the item, yes it's just a game, but people who don't do this end up undercutting your price, they see a profit, when it's really a loss.
The first tools depends on what you want to do. If you focus on meat or fish basic, the tool is the most useful. For crafting food, multicraft is more profitable so go for the hat.
@@cam24hour you can use a resourfullness enchant on the tool. You can use the flask of Quick hand from df to speed up the process a little bit but you need to wait a little in order to use the flask of beautifull season (currently give finesse but in winter it will give resourfullness).
Does this addon consider the cost of the finishing reagent when calculating the profit? For example, if CraftSim tells me I will make 9g avg profit when adding the reagent, does it consider that the crafting reagent costs 11g?

It does take into account the honeycomb cost, and if you want it to do it in the scan aswell you have to tick the box as said in the video😊 You can make honeycomb by crafting "Prepared Ingridient" using Cinderbee Belly. I don't know much about the secret sauce ingredient yet, its more expensive 4 sure but it produces more food I believe.
just got around 200k from alchemy, will try cooking and see the results, I play on US. maybe 100 crafts of each recipe with like 30 gold profit, do u have any suggestion on what to make?

Hello, the PSL addon doesn't seem to take into account which quality of reagents you need to buy. The recipe scan tells me to get 4 arathors R2 et 2 R1 but the PSL just decides i have to buy only R1. Do you have a mean to fix that ?
Hi m8! I don't think there is a fix sadly, I mostly use it in cooking where there are no ranked mats. Ocassionaly I use it in JC aswell but then I know in my head what ranks I need to buy. Maybe there is some other addon that can do this I don't know sorry

@@Elon_CS craftsim, after a fresh scan from tsm. Cheaper mats which were scanned for the same alloy price which was scanned (around 1k alloys). So far, don’t rely completely at this addon
The alloy market probably got oversaturated (several gold-making videos have recommended it in the last few weeks). The number people were producing way overwhelmed the number people were actually buying. I had to stop making and selling them, too.

Make sure to update the addon and use the regular profession window with craftsim. Check craftsim options and see that TSM is ticked😊

I heard that TSM does not take into account things like multi-craft procs whereas Craftsim does, so that may explain why it shows profit vs. TSM.

Have u installed TSM or Auctionator? If you use auctionator make sure to always run a AH scan before you start deciding what to craft :)

set this up yesterday spent 300k making salty dogs since they were 88g a piece, woke up today to see them 35g.. sadge
It will probably go up soon again, I'd hold on to it for a little bit. I use to sell them for around 90g, hopefully they rise again soon

@@Elon_CS craftsim shows me 14g profit on zesty nibblers , bought mats for 50 crafts for 19k but when i post them they sell for 16k , am i doing something wrong? in options i set the price source for auctionator and did a full scan before scanning recipes.

if you buy hot honeycomb (on the AH is 70g each) u can never make a profit

@@donkusti weird :P u max skill? make sure u ran auctionator scan if u use it aswell. If u use the honeycomb on example "Fish and Chips" or "zesty nibblers" still red? What region u in :D most of my recipes is in the profit right now
@@Elon_CS it happens the same to me. 100/100 cooking skills. same profession tools. and craftsim configured the same way :S im in EU. my profit its really low only in 3 recipes (8g max)
