Is the online application case sensitive ? I think I might have wrote my fictitious name in all cap in some sections and Cap/lowercase in others
Also I did get awarded for a few months of rental assistance but it is yet to be dispersed.

You would wait to conduct business until you have completed all the different permits/licenses.registrations and have received confirmation that they were completed/issued.

Hello Ginny. I found your video because I need a business license to get paid for the interior design consulting I did for a church counseling center. I have the talent and the counseling center needed the help. Since the church recently formed an HR department they now require all outside vendors to have business insurance and a business license. I also modernize/flip furniture and sell it. I anticipate gross earnings of 7K for the next 12 months.
My questions are:
1. Should I take advantage of the CA no-cost LLC filing fee to keep business and personal finances separate or file the lesser expensive route and file a sole proprietorship.
2. If I file sole proprietorship can that be changed to an LLC at a later date?
I have been a stay home mom for 14 years and would like to monetize my natural talents to pay for my son's college tuition

I received the letter A few days ago in the mail from the EDD about a notice of potential pandemic emergency unemployment compensation of traditional 13 weeks of benefits but I haven't had unemployment since September 2021 is this a current letter or is this an out-of-date letter that they're just sending out?
Outdated. PEUC extension ended in September.

I have a construction company. Sole proprietor. Which one would be better overall? Llc or corporation? Llc self employment tax is 15% and corp employment tax is like 7%… Is it worth it in California to have an llc?
I don't work with corporations since I focus on small creative business owners - I would consult a CPA and they can look at your financials and advise from there since it will all depend on your unique business.
