During the spring spawn, I have thrown just about everything at big bedding bass, but they just won't bite. I've been meaning to get some realistic bluegill lures, try swimming them into a bed, and seeing if the bass will react to protect the eggs.

The DC Shimano reels make that noise because of an electronic chip inside the reel that prevents backlash
