Anarcho-tyranny. Yes, it is corruption from life-long politicians who profit from legal crime that they perpetuate. TERM LIMITS, NOW!
100% yes and it doesn't matter the laws. Even in the states some of the strictest laws around guns have the most violence. Disparity causes issues more than anything else.
The ATF agent is lying, if you purchase more then one firearm in a five day period, it requires a special report sent to the ATF and the Local law enforcement department. Once again, the ATF misrepresented the facts.

Conservative “thinkers” are even more amazing. If they can’t get guns from us then they don’t have the means to continue pushing drugs. The southern border is already the most militarized border in the west if not the world. Money talks, that’s why guns and drugs flow through it

Machine guns, grenades, RPGs that the cartels have do NOT come from the US - they are not available in gun stores. Machine guns made before 1986 can be purchased after a government background check, a $200 tax, photos, fingerprints. Not something that cartels are going to waste their time on, as approval can take 6 months or more.
You must be new here. They check the serial numbers on seized guns. I don’t know what makes you think they wouldn’t do that. And second of all it’s super easy to convert any AR to have select fire.

I’ve lived in El Paso much of my life and grew up here. Cartel buying guns legally here is the most ridiculous thing anyone here could imagine. Never happening. They get theirs from other countries in bulk and military grade.
The AK the Sinaloa cartel guy had is a full auto Chinese AK. We did not get those in the US because full auto was effectively banned in 1986 and those are worth $30k plus along with being federally registered.

But do you also support the right for criminals to arm themselves too? Because that's what the US lack of personal defense gun laws do. The 2nd Amendment has been abused to no end.
You don't sue your fork for making you fat, you don't sue a car company over a wreck, you don't sue your pencil for a bad grade, why in hell would suing gun makers make any sense?
It's just gun nuts who value gun rights over human lives. We're the only country that has hundreds of mass shootings yearly. People like you don't care how many people die as long as you can carry a weapon.
"Over the past year, over 44,000 individuals lost their lives due to firearm-related incidents in the United States." ~21,000 of those were murders. The rest (the majority) were suicides. Meanwhile, there are over 1.6 MILLION defensive gun uses a year: "2021 National Firearms Survey" by Prof. William English, Georgetown McDonough School of Business Research Paper No. 3887145; PDF available free online. So why don't disarmists ever tell you about how many crimes are stopped or prevented with guns??
As a cop in Southern California we don't respect or like the ATF. They come down here and guess what, there harassing liquor stores!!! Our sheriff got mad at them and told these imbeciles to go away! Mexico needs to make it legal for citizens to protect themselves from the cartel. The cartel has it made knowing that the government makes sure the citizens are unarmed and vulnerable!
😂😅I know!!!!! Let's build a border wall so crap can't be trafficked and put some kind of border control officers down there😂😅. Wait... wouldn't that be xenophobic??😂😅
This is framed as a US gun law problem, but it is really a border and law enforcement issue. And seeing that Mexico has only ONE gun store and sales are highly regulated and controlled and yet the Mexican cartels and criminals are STILL able to acquire them illegally.....It is almost as if laws are not followed by those who choose not to, so what does more laws that only harm the law abiding accomplish?????
The assertion that US guns are arming the cartel is vastly overblown. First, it is well known that over 30% of the weapons imported by the Mexican army go "missing." Second, if the Mexicans thought that arms smuggling from the USA was a big deal they would try to stop it which they absolutely do not. I have been driving into to Mexico for over 50 years and not only has my car never been searched, it has never even been stopped. Not once has a Mexican border guard asked deep and probing questions like "What is the purpose of your visit?" or "Are you smuggling guns?" Cartels don't need to buy civilian legal weapons that are mendaciously labeled by the left as "weapons of war" when they can easily bribe the local comandante and get the real thing. This lie persists because it allows the US left cast dispersions on legal guns and gun owners and allows the corrupt Mexican government to deflect blame away from the true suppliers of the murderous drug cartels which are themselves.( and maybe win a huge chunk of cash from their BS lawsuit to boot).
I am not even from the US but it's strange that Americans believe that it is so easy to get a fully automatic rifle in the states, bye the way, how many of those deaths are suicide or illegal guns

Guns are not legally given to Mexico they are distributed by the CIA see " Operation Fast and Furious." They are also obtained illegally as you cannot buy a gun in the US if you are a felon since there is a back ground check that goes directly to the FBI database and if you lie on your check you are arrested at the gun store by the state police and any gun shop will tell you this when you get to section on adjudication and felony charges.

You can’t just walk into a gun store and buy a gun, everyone gets an fbi background check and has to fill out a form 4473 as well as produce a drivers license. If they just walked in somewhere and bought it then either the person who bought it was a us citizen (and those guns serial numbers are attached to their name) or they bought it from an individual person. If you buy a gun from a store it is registered there is no such thing as an unregistered firearm unless you built it in your home and I don’t think there are a lot of people building Barrett’s in their basement.
You can at gun shows. I saw another documentary a guy went to a guy show to see how easy it was. He came out with three guns. Almost immediately a black truck pulled up and offered them cash for the guns they bought. It's not that hard to get a gun.
Current federal law requires background checks to be performed for anyone purchasing a firearm at a federally licensed gun dealer-however only 40% of guns sold in the US are sold through a federally licensed dealer. 30% of guns involved in criminal trafficking are connected to gun shows, where background checks aren’t required. The trafficking of guns generally involves a highly efficient, organized, and profitable business that moves guns from legal manufacture to dealers to criminals and young people who can’t buy guns legally.
@@JayLista Did you just conveniently ignore the second sentence? It's illegal to sell a gun to people who can't buy one. How do you add a law or a background check to prevent this when it's already illegal and the burden to sniff out straw purchases is placed on the FFL holder?

I'm not trying to insult them or imply they are stupid, but IMHO they have no right to tell me (or others) that I don't know what I am talking about when they can't even pronounce cyclobenzaprine or carisprodol (or think fentanyl is spelled with an o). Just because someone does not have MD or Pharm D behind their name does not ipso facto mean that they are ignorant on the topic and should have their autonomy taken away. I put them in the same camp of people that don't know the difference between automatic and semi-automatic firearms but seem to have the loudest voices on what firearm policy should look like. It doesn't take more than an hour or two to learn the basics of firearms if you feel that strongly about the issue. It is hard to take someone's opinion seriously when they can't even perform a Google search to educate themselves.
but uh, the drug market has shifted to China, South America is outta wack, they need guns in order to revolt, the USA makes and sells fire-arms to Ukraine, and uh, comes back to us, the USA needs drugs because we are basically in poverty, and work 24-7. we are proud when we don't live.
@@MrClownDroid Wrong. There are two continents. Not to mention, when I posted this, there were other grammatical errors. The title originally read like: "How US Gun Laws Are Affect the Rest of America".
Regarding universal background checks, why would illegal gun traffickers, who are already breaking multiple federal laws in the process of illegally trafficking guns, care if they have to potentially break another law during that process? Additionally, if they are buying guns in the amount required to effectively act as an illegal gun trafficker, then--by federal law--those purchases would already require background checks, even if they are illegally not being performed already.
Shhhhh don't tell the lefties that a even more useless questionnaire will not solve all of the problems somehow. I rather have that then a complete ban a la Mexico City style.
because they arent buying them new from stores, they're buying them 2nd , 3rd , 4th hand because of the ability to private sell , and not have to transfer . if US citizens had to legally transfer through an FFL , that would lessen the amount of weapons sold to those criminals who then get it back to mexico and beyond . . . problem with that , having to register firearms , and the inability from the right to offer anything of substance , while complaining about how gun laws arent working, and then refusing to compromise because its seen as concession . . . it's also the same way most guns end up in US criminals possession . . . its weird to ask a question you already know the answer too . . but won't be a part of resolving the problem . . . . .i'm all for guns rights , beyond what we currently have , but i'm also for registration , and all private sales being done through an FFL .
Do you realize the fallacy in your question? Right now, they just go buy the guns legally because it’s that easy to get them and drive them back across the border. So, zero background check is contributing to illegal gun trafficking and deaths. If there was a background check and a waiting period, they would have to find another way of getting them. The 10 deadliest mass shootings of the past decade all involved legally purchased guns. Illegal purchases were made by 13% of those committing mass shootings. In cases involving K-12 school shootings, over 80% of individuals who engaged in shootings stole guns from family members. The conservative idea that bad people get weapons illegally is obtuse when anyone can just go buy them without hassle. Its flat-out asinine to think that background checks wouldn’t have any affect when it has been proven beyond any doubt that no background check is a root cause.
@SuperAtomiczombies I just said it supply and demand . People die for drugs to get here because they are so valuable. If no one used them they would be worthless . I also doubt that tons come in without help . We have the tightest border in the world.

OP you want to arm the criminals by making it easy for them? Gtfo
illegal gun traffickers are just called republicans lol

Infringed*
The commies want you disarmed so you can't exterminate them as our ancestors should've done. That's all.
The problem is simple: We're not hanging our domestic enemies, our greatest enemies.
We’re winning the gun battle(sort of) and losing the war. We have 400 mil. guns and NO MEN to use them.
Why is western civilization being intentionally collapsed and who or what profits from this?
The commie globalist trash want us disarmed so we can't hunt and exterminate them as should have been done generations ago.
The SECOND AMENDMENT was written as a statement of MILITARY purpose to ACKNOWLEDGE our NATURAL BORN right to possess ARMS SUPERIOR to those carried by the standing army our Founders rightly feared. But we have NO MEN to enforce this.
Why don't we have an engraved in granite copy of the Bill of Rights and the Bill of Rights of that state in front of EVERY govt. building beside a granite gallows to be used on the demonscat and republicrat trash that breaks their Oath as soon as they take it?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See what the evil goolag doesn't want you to:

Your rights have been infringed? In what way?
The framers were concerned about having a permanent standing army and the ability to form a militia.
We have both and it’s the best military in the world. Your personally owned firearms are superfluous and costly.
Weird how you can buy a 50 cal with no background check but when I bought my Springfield hellion I had to fill out a 4473
Sounds like Mexico needs to "just legalize it".
Then that’ll put the cartels outta business
You mean the drugs? Okay, in some respects, I have no problem with that. Just as long as the druggies don't move into my neighborhood.

Lollll for real
Mexico has a cartel problem because of drug users, if we educated our kids and stopped being a drug thirsty country we would slow down the cartels .
@@enviouscreationscarclub1 the drug problem is a little more complex than just educating children.
@dansmith5859 trust me I know, but it is a start . We can't always blame our problems on 3 world countries. What do I know .
This made me laugh Maybe u should educate yourself the reason Mexico has all its guns is bc of America there’s one gun store in the whole of Mexico that is controlled by the government😭😭😭😭 maybe if people stopped caring more about guns and more about society and growing we could get somewhere we are stuck on blm and guns for the older generation 😭😭
Ah yes, vice back at it telling me how dangerous my second amendment right is. Time to build another AR. Get fucked.
This just seems like one more reason to secure our borders.
Secure them? - they need to be locked down.....

Hell no on universal background checks!! So many Americans are so ready to give up our constitutional rights! WTF?
Lmao where did they say that
You must have a sketchy background if you are worried about that.
Honestly insane how far gone Americans are that they think a universal background check is any admission to their "rights". America is the least free OCED nation and yet you all think the idea of freedom is owning a gun and not living a life without debt, medical care and parental leave
@@DelightfulOne323 no universal backgrounds will lead to registration then confiscation you certified goofy

UTTER BS WHEN THE AGENT TELLS HIM THAT THE FFL DOES NOT HAVE TO REPORT A SALE OF 40- AK-47 TO THE ATF. IF MORE THAN 3 ARE SOLD TO THE SAME INDIVIDUAL AT ONE TIME OR OVER A COURSE OF A SEVERAL DAYS, THE FFL MUST SEND A REPORT TO ALL LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AS WELL AS THE ATF ITS SELF. Don't let people point the muzzle of a firearm at your camera man or woman for a story or for any reason. That's probably the biggest no-no in gun safety. Education in gun safety is a must for just such a story- credibility can go out the window under the circumstances if you're trying to influence the thought process of gun owners.
Not a big loss anyways
People are getting fatter and fatter every year because of how easy it is to buy spoons in America. It's definitely not a lack of self-control, diet, and exercise. It's the spoons, ban all spoons.
Anybody else remember when the ATF was trafficking said "illegal" guns to Mexico? Pepperidge farm remembers....
Iran Contra…
Everyone wants to talk about “take guns away” “ban guns” “no one needs a gun” go try telling that to your local gang member and see how that works out.
You always have to do a background check, on all firearm purchases that are not muzzle loaders or black powder. So you just lied about being able to buy a barrett without a background check. Now if the purchaser has a CCW permit, FFL 1-3, or an SRO permit ,you don't need a background check because your permit number is on filed with the government...

At 6:20 the atf agent lies and says theirs no requirements for them to identify the individual who buys over $100'000 worth of .50. The FFL HAS A a 4473 form that's needed.

It is by their definition, and that's the problem. They say it loud enough and in as many places as possible to change what the public thinks the definition is. Propaganda is powerful that way.
Assault rifle isn’t even a real term…I think CNN made that term up thinking AR is abbreviation for “assault rifle”
There is no such thing as an assault rifle, it's a completely made up term.
California seems to disagree with you
With the original intent of the Constitution civilians should be able to own automatic weapons, mortars, explosives, etc
Anything you would need to fight a war. I say disband the military and just rely on the people.

No that's a lie about buying 40 guns. If you buy 2 on the same form, you get flagged for that. What makes you think you would walk in and buy 40 at a time? At a gun show, yes; at a gun store, no.
I don't think so even at a Gun Show. Try to buy 40 guns from a single FFL at a gun show, flagged. Buy from 40 different FFL's, with 40 separate 4473's, yeah that is gonna get flagged. Try to buy that many from one or several Private Sellers, it would be noticed and someone would be calling in about it.

You know, I am tired if the blame being put on the U.S. Mexico and other countries have a responsibility to be thorough with what passes through their border as well. Accountability needs to happen on both sides irregardless of who, what, why, when, where or how. Pointing the finger is just an excuse. That is only my opinion. Its also just big changes in society like high divorce rates and so many fatherless homes. Kids with only one parent are much much more likely to have problems like being violent and going to jail.
untreated generational trauma causes mental illness. its not bad that new generations have access to life saving medical care if they need it???? Just having a gun around is not the same as it was back then anymore with how many shootings and just overall violent crimes there are, and encouraging people to get guns and be armed and know how to use them isn't gonna fix how terrifying they are to people. we should not have to live in a world where teenagers need to know how to do that
