Rough childhood creates either broken or strong people. In the latter case, when they grow up and become independent, most the usual life's problems seem so small and trivial in comparison to what they had to experience as kids that being positive and chill becomes quite easy. Too bad, as far as I at least can tell, _most_ people become just broken.
