As a defenseman it is great to have high power shots like you and I do but when I comes to games it is better to shoot low power shots for tip ins, some of it depends on the goalie as well, if he drops then shoot high or if stays up shoot low, either way I love ur work man.
I notice many of your pucks hitting the left side of the net are off angle... Cutting too much across your body is what makes you so accurate (and more powerful) to the right corner. However, it robs of significant power in controlling how much you open the blade to hit that left corner.
Love your vids but you should definitely start doing the outside shooting. Those are my favorite vids. (Especially when you go 1 on 1 w/ your dad). Keep up the good work!!!
Your shot got harder... because you got bigger... and worked on it... however, I notice your head started to stay down longer and you were looking at the net after the shot was off... The only reason you can accurately shoot like that is because you have shot at that exact spot from similar distance for 4+ years and know where to shoot... you won't be able to do shit on skates from other areas of the ice if you're shooting like that... In my opinion... you we're better when you were younger, so I won't say this was a huge "improvement"
