Love all the hate comments. When has Sulta ever proclaimed to be the most technically skilled DJ out there? That’s right, he hasn’t. But what he has stated in the past is it’s all about track selection and ensuring that everyone there is right on a journey with him having a fucking wild time. It certainly can’t be denied that everyone there is loving the vibe in such an awe-inspiring setting. Sulta can create vibes that not many others can even dream of, end of conversation.
The bad taste exists, some people are more demanding than others, value a more sophisticated electronic and with better elements, it is normal this type of commentary, only remembering that good vibe serves for an infinity of songs of quite dubious taste, to say in the minimum.
He's such a colossal bellend though. It's painful to watch him, not for bad mixing (I am first to put track selection before anything else in any mix) but he's just such an attention seeking knob. I had the misfortune to see him at lost village and he was all over the eq's constantly for no reason, pointing at people in the crowd while his music was sounding shit.
haydon524 okay I take your point and respect your opinion, however many people who actually follow, like and respect him as a performer would suggest that all the “pointing at the crowd” and “attention seeking” as you refer to it as him having fun with his audience in his personal little way. He has fun and so do the vast majority of his fans/crowds that watch him. He’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I’ve never understood why people openly criticise from behind their computer screens. If you haven’t anything nice to say, don’t say it at all, or just don’t watch videos or clips where he’s involved ?
haydon524 attention seeking or genuinely enjoying the music he’s playing / getting everyone involved? Nothing wrong in crowd interaction; drop the ignorance
There’s already a complete track list in the comments from 2+ years ago, just needs more likes to get it to the top.still appreciate the work though 👍🏼
I love the track selection. HOWEVER! There has been a myriad of DJ's across time, even today, that can play the same tracks, get the same vibe, and actually mix well. I'm completely lost when it comes to who makes it today, and who doesn't.
Maybe I'm just a fckn hipster, but regardless of all the hate, I really dig this set. I love how he is so unconventional. Like "Ah, let's just not make a smooth transition. Let's just end this song here and start the next". And like "Ah, let's play around with that high-pass-filter, because why the fuck not." For me, it's a lot of fun to listen to. There were also a lot of sounds that I really wasn't expecting, like the dogs barking, with some reverb on them, the noisy street sounds and some rainforest-vibes in the background. I love the creativity and energy it conveys. I also get why many people don't like it or even think it's crap. It's for sure not everyone's style of techno. Most people nowadays seem to mainly like the harder in-your-face-techno, represented by DeWitt and Lens. Nevertheless, I'm really happy that Cercle doesn't only try to please the masses and instead delivers a broad variety of styles. Thanks.
You certainly are not a hipster for listening to one of the more popular DJs in the world lol. Now you're going to call Justin Bieber fans hipsters too? lol. Learn what techno is before saying something as stupid as "it's for sure not everyone's style of techno" because it definitely is NOT TECHNO.
