Yes, i think it will work.. just follow the shade as the combination, and also add white for the lightest color combo..
But if you use pink, i think it will looks like Sakura tree.. that's gonna be really pretty.. also add light red for the combo of pink..
I think I'm gonna try to make one too 😄 I hope my hands can cooperate my brain idea to try to start painting

I can't even master the skill of finger painting and this artist here come out with q-tips and creates a masterpiece like this, just beautiful. If you're not teaching a class I highly recommend you should.
Beautiful art, one small advice instead of using another set of q-tip can’t u use the other side of the q-tip for another color🤔just an idea of saving q-tip👍🏻
