You know unironically the rant about ritual beasts being a horrible anime deck reminded me of how the X-sabers played when they showed up in Arc-V. Even the bystanders in the anime were just like "is his turn still going?"
I think it could work, anime players don't need to search, because they always have what they need in hand. so instead you focus on the tag out mechanic to dodge whatever the opponent is throwing, have their monsters get wiped turn 4/5ish so you can do a rediculous combo play with ritual beast return or bond. Culminating in a showdown with ulti-giapelio,

Farfa when he see 30,000 atk, he said 13,000. That is funny then he saw everything properly 30 seconds later. If you are wondering why 28,000 they are bonus score for the goal pass and regular pass and lv.up for doing that mush damage in one turn and it even count it pass the 0 life points left, and the bonus point is his still gain even if you lose as long as you lose without surrender

I played curtain raiser as an extender, but tbh I didn't like it all that much. It was neat, but Vaylants do the same thing multiple times. I'd rather have a small engine that can consistently do it

5:42 That’s the reason I dropped the game, I realized that there was no way in hell they would ban the cockroach. If they do it would mean that one of the most used cards in the game gets dust refunded, and we all know how much Konami hates refunding dust (especially for a UR play set).

As former Pend Magician player myself you are Sooo wrong. You pay 1500 on top of the damage your taking from Darkwurm and your opponent is up a card because Any decent player goes Cl1 Double Cl2 Purple Eyes. Sure you can Alpha but because you don't destroy the card you don't draw which makes said damage 1800 And in the opponent's position they search Time Pendgraph to distrupt your normal summon then search star pendgraph since they destroyed the 2nd Double Iris. And if they has astro/chronograph sorc in hand then you lost WAY more advantage.
Oh and here's a fun fact. If you solemn strike Any of the Zarc Pend Magicians of the dark attribute in the Extra deck, they are destroyed and sent to the GY which then triggers their effects again meaning you paid 1500 for them to activate an effect Twice in a turn on card without even soft opt effects

They really need to at least semi-limit Maxx C. I get not banning it completely because MD has a lot of janky combo decks still legal that consistently FTK. I play it as a two of and never as a 3 just for Crossout purposes. I’ve been running droll and lock in decks with space to additionally combat Maxx C. Basically it’s a huge problem. some decks I’m running 3 ash 2 droll 2 called by 2 Maxx C and Crossout just so I can play the game without my opponent getting a +10 card advantage.
