Different , people have always either talked about the system or showed it quickly but I think this is one of the first deep looks into how exactly this system works for one that does not know.
I'm so glad I didn't just order this and decided to look up info on it. I've got a Rustler VXL ,Original Bigfoot #1, and 3 weeks ago I got a new 1/10 Summit and yesterday got a new 1/10 EREVO,So I was like maybe now it's time for Traxxas Link, but if I have to add sensors and all that to see my mph and all that,it's not worth it. Funny how Traxxas neglects to mention that....
Hi after you connected the wireless module to your transmitter did you have to link it or bind it to the receiver on the trx4. in the garage mode you press connect it then says link or bind but not sure what to press. Another good vid keep them coming.
Steve Wells Hi man no one it connects it finds the car on its own I did have some problems with my galaxy note phone so I used a tablet and it connected straight away now I have a new phone it works first time moto 5
Steve Wells tried it again I just turned on radio then the blue tooth on the back of radio hit the connect on the app it's took a few goes but connected
So apart from being able to control the steering response and braking, without any sensors, this is really a waste of money (in my opinion) The sensors would give you the majority of info but obviously will cost to purchase separately. Is this just a gimmick?
Hi just a update it would not connect to my iPad but it did to my I phone so up and running ok I have done my steering end points what did you change in drive affects. I'm running 2s Lipo in mine so quite happy with that.
@@ryansensenig8205 thanks got it all worked out have a new problem the primary shaft keeps snapping I think it's cuz I have the proline Badlands mx38 on it are they to much for the Revo 3.3
I know its been 4 months since you asked but I find if you put it in crawler mode it's a lot easier to control in reverse. It just sucks that it sets the drag brake to 100% and no way to turn it down.
could you possibly help me out with the module I have it linked up with my xmaxx and the firmware downloads and updates work just fine, but I was wondering if you could help me out and point me in the right direction... I am just trying to adjust the braking % so it doesn't endo and front flip on over and also wanted to adjust the throttle % so it does a bit more wheelie in' and a little less of just squatting and just taking off... lastly if you could help I was wondering how I can adjust the sensitivity of the tsm feature, I flipped it yesterday just a normal roll over nothing hard but the front wheels kept twitching like the tsm was trying to keep the truck str8 but it was flipped.... can you point me in the right direction of what parameter I should look at to adjust the tsm% thanks soo much in advance I really appreciate the help take care and god bless... keeep on bashing on.. -pistol pete
Hi Peter im sorry but my traxxax link stopped working about a month ago I'm debating whether to get another one if do I'll try to find out but what I remember is I just played with the sliders until I got what I wanted but the brake I think aways stopped very harsh.
Are the settings kept when the phone is switched off (or even without the wireless module in the transmitter) - are the settings kept? Or does the phone & app always need to be turned ON whenever wanting to drive with the settings done in the "App" ?

Thanks 👍

Thanks Ken glad you liked it.
I loved it he got right to the point
I need to buy more stuff to bluetooth it

Beta250trials thanks for trying it again, I will connect it using my I pad it will be better then my phone as the screen will be better to see.
Steve Wells might be an option good look....

Steve Wells hi man I have it so lots of steering and slow reverse also slow acceleration...
Beware. Link bricked me ESC by getting it stuck in an update loop. Many reports about this on Reddit
@@Yowie722 thanks for the warning good to know.

Hi what settings did you change so the traxxas is not so sharp in reverse.
hi Steve ill take a look later and let you know..
Steve Wells I use
Tsm assistance 39%
Steering Sen 0
Thottle 100
Steering 100
Breaking 39
Thottle trim 37
Cruse control 11
Hope this helps
That's great I will put those settings in. I'm hoping to put a video of my traxxas trx4 on soon showing what I have done to it and driving it around.

What about servo end point settings? I hoped you would show that is possible.
o0wizzetta0o hello there's a slider do that also thanks
What is required in addition to this module to get max speed and current speed? Rpm sensor?
I think external sensors but I know for sure as I don't use them sorry
Did they fix the problem with Android and traxxas link
I'm not sure but it works on with my Android phone
Does the speed work without that gps? I mean if you buy only the link app, can you test the speed then?
Hi i don't have the gps so i dont think so
The video keeps buffing. I can't watch it. Always happens on this one. I have good wifi
Hi sorry about that I've watched it on 4 different phone's and 3 tablets lap top and pc it plays ok don't know what to say sorry bud
