Out with the old, and in with the cute! My guest bathroom was feeling a little bleh, so I decided to empty out all the unnecessary clutter and redecorate it with a color scheme in mind. What's white and gray with pink, black, and gold accents? My new bathroom, DUH!

I agree with the folks that stated it was a bit over kill with the accessories HOWEVER I MUST applaud you for NOT gutting this bathroom because it is GEORGEOUS!!
It looks nice...but in real life...uhm...I think it would be too cluttered to clean easily. And also...the moisture from the bath/shower would get everything wet and...not so pretty. Don't u think?

I was also thinking it was a bit cluttered. I'm having a similar issue in my bedroom on my dresser. so much pretty stuff, but over bearing for the space.

But dose she shower in there? in my house we have the two bathrooms, but I get ready in the smaller one and shower in the bigger one it just works out better like that.
I like it, but for me it's a bit too much, I'd prefer it to be more minimalistic, but you did a great job

I *LOVE* how the bathroom isn't minimalist and clinical. It looks so inviting, comforting, cosy and 'lived in'. It really seems like a breath of fresh air like an oasis of calm. it is so gorgeous!

I think it was too much stuff and it took away from the beauty of the actual bathroom. I'd go more minimalistic here. With a few special but simple pieces and maybe add one pretty color for interest. But I still get ideas for things in other rooms too!
I just love the idea of separate bathrooms. Forget a His and Her sink. I have too much stuff! Totally going to think of this when I get married in the future and buy a home. That is so necessary, especially for a girl who loves her products and makeup items!! ♥ Loved this!

The bathroom looks like its very photogenic, but living in it would be a hassle. I think its too much and some of the stuff in the bathroom would get ruined from the humidity.
I actually really love this! The white built-ins help tone down the (what could be) "clutter" on top. And you made it work for YOU. That's all anyone can do. Plus it's easier to grab everything in a hurry and see everything when it's readily available (and not in cupboards). By the way, I noticed that when things are prettier and all have a place, the house stays cleaner and it's easier to put everything right back in its place. Also, it makes cleaning kind of a joy because Everytime you're done your room is so beautiful again. It helps you take pride in your work. (Versus when your house isn't well decorated or everything doesn't have a place so you just shit-shift everything and it never feels like "home." The house also always seems to vomit everything back up when it doesn't all have a place. Oy.)
Another idea: Fill your shampoo and showergel in a soap dispenser, it just looks more elegant and clean

Oh! I forgot to say... The layering of the rugs is brilliant! Never loved the rug situation in my large-ish, weird bathroom & I think truly layering two varying patterns/textures could be amazing. Rugs make SUCH a difference. You've got me excited to start the hunt!!

As some of you, I agree this is too cluttered and difficult to clean. But if Kate is willing to clean all of that, then it is perfect! What a beautiful peaceful cozy oasis. Imagine visiting a friend, going to the bathroom and finding something like this.

Ever since I was little I’ve always wanted to be an interior designer,just because I love decorating and organizing stuff because my life is a mess so everything around me has to be organized LOL. you inspire me and you have so much talent!!! I Love how you are so bubbly. Like girl, I would never think to put patterns on top of patterns if you know what I mean because I feel like they would clash but you have showed be different.

I LOVE IT! I just love the natural colors going on in your bathroom. When it wasn't designed yet I saw the black tiles and im not really a fan of black tileing specially when its for a bathroom. But, when it was designed you could barely see the black tileing. But, if you have a small bathroom like I do it's kinda hard to add decorations. I really think you're bathroom is super cute. :)
The tiling and built-ins in that bathroom are gorgeous. It doesn't need all that junk.

I absofreakinlutely love it, I have a tiny bathroom. I am now in the hunt for a tiny stool to sit on to put lotion on. I usually sit on my bed. I am also on the hunt for a small vanity or a diy piece to repurpose. I would love a bit in, I love what you did but I eventually would put mirrors in where the antlers and dream catcher are. I would also possibly remove the shelf that you put the towels on. I'd put a stool in there to sit on while blow drying my hair, put my make-up on and lotion etc. But it's pretty the way you have it bc you can display your artwork and decor that makes you feel good. I love you. I wish you could come to my house in Connecticut. We bought our house the same time you did and you inspired me to display some of my own artsy craft artwork. xo

Things you did in your bathroom that I didn't already think of for my own:
-Have different colored towels that compliment each other
-Have a stool to sit on
-Have nice-smelling candles to keep the bathroom smelling nice
As for the SW Basics products & African Black Soap, bravo! I'm the same way with my beauty & body products! I want them paraben free & fragrance free. I know the SW Basics stuff is good, but I'm still allergic to some of the ingredients they use, so I've found other products like it or I make my own. And for the soap, I just use Kiss My Face's Pure Olive Oil soap bars.

Such a beautiful bathroom. LOVE the color scheme. Bc the bathroom's so lovely on its own, I prob would've edited down about 80%. Don't feel like the anchor hooks (though awesome!) fit the theme/era. Same with the embroidery hoop/yarn piece... But it's SO cool! I'd love to see the DIY! Please!!
