I like the AFE performance filter with no oil/DRY (70$) over the K&N. I find that cleaning and oil is a bit much and i'm sure the oil filters end up diminishing the reliability of the MAF sensor. I've been running it for a while now and I like it a lot and the sound overall is much better than the stock air filter. Even though the benefits are minuscule compared to the K&N in the sound field I usually end up going for more reliable.
Bro i got the same AFE intake system on my b8 and im getting Engine light and car runs ruff! I feel like money was wasted! Did you ever figure out how to fix that issue on that AFE intake box?

The B8 its larger diameter around the maf sensor and the maf sensor its not calibrated for the larger diameter and it will misfire im using a B8 Injen on my B7 had to cut the maf sensor section off and use the B7 OEM maf sensor adapter.
hi , if you want more power get a biger engine , stage 1 its not good for engine > more power = more problems :)) 2.0 tfsi have good power anyway dont modificate it :))
I have a 2.0t stage 2 with a burble tune intercooler downpipe cat delete resonator delete K&N intake upgraded diverter valve timing chain updated it’s fine to mod and i have so much fun with it 🤷🏻♂️

The foam is a soft landing / impact pad for bugs that get sucked into the intake... that's what my Uncle Helmut at the Ingolstadt Factory told me!
Didn’t think of that makes sense.. I just never see it in other airboxes it does seem to hold up with time

I can’t find an injen for a 06 2.0t only the b8 Audi’s and newer what’s different can’t I run the b8

Satmatreanu you have no clue what your talking about if you tune this engine right it will run a lot better from the factory and a lot faster
