That first dress was made for you omg! You look stunning in it! That second dress is so unique and definitely looks better without the bolero because I love that 90s silhouette. I only own one 90s goth dress and this makes me want to find more lol
Thank you, I also really love the first one!! I still want to find something to cover my arms for the second dress, but I agree that the bolero is not the right choice. I'll just have to experiment with a few things in my wardrobe. I want to get more 90s stuff, too! 90's goth fashion is my favorite era of goth fashion 🖤
Yeah, I remember they did used to have some pretty cool stuff back in the day! I haven't really looked into getting vintage Torrid stuff, though, so thanks for the suggestion!
New subscriber and saw your video, cause Vane posted it in the community tab. Love the dresses from 90s and beginning of 2000. So much for the money, even if I thought it was expensive even back then. But compared with today... The first is my favorit, but the second can be really cool with right styling. Definitive saw the potential there! Happy Gothic New Year! 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇
Happy gothic new year to you as well! 🦇🖤🥀 So happy to have you here! Yeah, the price tag can definitely be a doozy @_@! I think its worth it though, when I can afford it, because beautiful fashion is art! The romantic goth style really speaks to my soul 🖤
Neat vintage clothing there, and an early happy new year to you. Sometime this afternoon, I will be posting another video of me dancing to music I listen to (I'm not sure if you saw it, but I also posted a dancing video a few weeks back). In the dancing videos and outside of that, I typically wear a tucked-in short-sleeved t-shirt with athletic pants or shorts.
@@porcelainghoul Update: Two dancing videos have been published tonight. I might even post another one tomorrow morning. Also, I released new Willow content in the past few days if you would like to check any of it out.
Cleeambercleeeee! I really love both these dresses -remember to give the eBay sellers good feedback when you have the time; only a fraction of buyers ever do. And speaking only for myself it's not just good for your karma; I am much more likely to work with repeat buyers (as in accepting their offers), ESPECIALLY if they have given me good feedback. I see some sellers in the Community forums even have coupons that they send out specifically to repeat/good feedback buyers. One other thing -you mention Gothic fashion cycling through owners and carrying on a life of its' own, I am a huge fan and subscriber to that way of thinking for so many reasons. One, yes it is romantic, but also, dollars are "votes." You mention the loss of quality you've seen in modern design and fabrics, and I won't go into the global political aspects of that, which you are surely already aware, but when you buy (anything) pre-owned versus new, you are making a statement about your expectations, AND you are supporting a real person like yourself instead of a corporation. And speaking of that .... if you ever want to get into eBay selling I would be tickled pink to share what I know, stuff that isn't spelled out in their policy pages, etc. You could literally quit working and be full time 'funemployed.' But if you just wanted to sell some of your old Gothic items so they can carry on their lives, eBay is definitely the place to do it. Apparently Etsy is becoming Temu2, sadly (actually I kinda love Temu but it already exists and Etsy used to be so special as its' own thing). Final note: You're getting really good at video-making, and fast! Just that little part where you popped the fam photo in the corner -I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to do that, ha.
@@audreymuzingo933 Thank you! I wanted to leave the sellers feedback the other day, but for some reason every time I tried Ebay kept logging me out. Thanks for reminding me, hopefully that bug is fixed now. The decline of Etsy has been sad to see. I try to buy secondhand and from small businesses when I can, but it can be hard to find when Etsy is clogged up with the same junk that you can find everywhere else. I'll be sure to reach out if ever I want to start selling stuff online! And thanks, I feel like I learn more about video editing with every video I make 😊

@@porcelainghoul Ha eBay has some glitch or other nearly every day, but they do seem to clear them really fast.
