When you join Real Madrid, it's normal to leave only after you've given it your all. There's always someone who doesn't fit in or thinks they're above everything, and they leave earlier (those kinds of guys are immediately "sacked" at RM), but that's rare. As Modric said, once you arrive at Real Madrid, everything else is a step down, at best.
It is certainly the pinnacle for many players!!

Carraghers claim was delusional back then and it is delusional now. If Bellingham keeps his performance level he will not want to leave Real Madrid. Not for money, not for competetiveness, not for reputation. Additionally he witnessed the farewell of a legend like Toni Kroos, and he will witness similarly emotional farewells for other Real Madrid legends like Modric, Carvajal and Ancelotti. I'm sure he will want the same.
Carragher clearly is a Liverpool fan and that's fine. For him Liverpool ranks higher than other clubs, also fine. But that is just his perspective and it obviously prevents him from seeing things more objectively. And objectively there is no better club than Real Madrid.
There are very few teams that you would want to leave if you are at the peak of your career. Real madrid has to be on the top of that list.
