Westwood is a genius.......Fashion as a narrative for activism....ABSOLUTELY! I wish I could have been at this show. I am a vegan, designer and design educator and my students will be seeing this. We will discuss these issues.......
I believe that clothes are for dressing up, not for activism.

@@heidibabb1793 Yes, but I prefer clothes that reveal my identity, without my intention, without me doing activism through what I wear. This V.W. activist clothing looks to me like a collection of rags thrown at you. I prefer clothes that reveal elegance, not activism. And if we want to do something for ecology, for example, I don't like environmental activists, but those who, without fuss, plant trees.

@@heidibabb1793 I don't think I need to be helped! I have absolutely no intention of following fashion, especially fetishized fashion. On the street, I'm not going to follow the activist messages sent by people through fashion. I don't make my culture out of clothing , any kind of culture .
