    Oh awesome deffo gonna go check this out.
    I've been using the regular syslog module and couldn't get graylog to work the way I wanted

      Yeah the one thing you loose is alerting, so if you alert on syslog, you'll gave to do the alerting in graylog

    I've used Graylog a bit. I just stood up an instance of LibreNMS to see what it's about. What I'm curious about is why use LibreNMS at all if you want to log things. Why not just use Graylog on its own?

    Hi. Great video, it helped me a lot, thank you! How did you solve the fact that the IP address and not the host name is displayed in the graylog under "source"? I googled a lot but couldn't find a solution. Without this, no good integration into LibreNMS is possible. Thank you for your help! Greetings from Switzerland.

      If in graylog its showing a host name that is because the device you are sending has a hostname. I typically dont use hostnames.. the most important thing is the IP/Hostname of the device in librenms should match the IP/Hostname of the source graylog.
