Thank you for your amazing contribution it helps the community grow.. any guidance on integrating an active directory to separate data access for various users shall be much of a help.... thank you once again for your guidance much appreciated.
Hi, Thanks for the video. Nevertheless, I cannot connect anything using snmp ... including the libreNMS container itself... (like you during the video)... An idea of why ?
Depending on the generation of the cpu I would say 2-4 cores tops. 256gb ssd and 16gb. It should be quite performant. I have a customer with 300 endpoints and it was super low in terms of resource requirements. The biggest issue with a lot of devices would be the internal database queries and performance. So a ssd would be good.
Shame I could not get this to work - tried various times on 2 different proxmox servers - different versions of ubuntu - same result when I try to access via browser it after installation. Going to the IP address just does nothing (without the install.php postifx). Got a bit further but now an error connecting to the DB when trying to log in SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user 'librenms'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
well got it up and running from the librenms docker commands and have access to the login page but cannot login . Tried all options of default passwords and logins.
Great Video ... Please continue exploring and keep posting these home lab gems
I will have a couple more videos coming up soon(ish). I've moved over my desktop to Linux and need to configure it the way I like it :)
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the kind words
Awesome video, thank you for the guide!

Yes it will

I will have a new video using Observium coming soon. I find Observium a bit more performant and capable than LibreNMS.
@@ztech-consulting i understand but LibreNMS is supposed to do the job…. Maybe a proxmox config missing
Contact me on z00100@gmail.com and I can assist further
Thanks for this video
To run librenms in production for 1000 to 1500 devices what will be hardware requirement?
It shouldn’t require much. Maybe 16 gb ram.
@@ztech-consulting Which processor with how many core cpu? RAM? And Hard disk space to run 1000 to 2000 devices

I removed the /install.php, and I still can't reach the web page. Can you help?
Need a agent install on windows or linux device?
The email alerts are not working, do you have to configure something in the proxmox container to send the emails?
Possible to change librenms to your brand
It's open source so I assume you can. Best check their license
Good video
Thanks
blank page after install
More vids like these :)
More are incoming. 😉
Great Video
Glad you enjoyed it
I could not connect to the IP at the end of the installation. Possibly because I ran it on ubuntu 18? I will try again but on 20.04
It should have worked with Ubuntu 18.
