I wear my Combat Sub quite often and it feels great on the wrist. I’ve had it for about 2 years and never had an issue. No hot spots, no discomfort and the crown doesn’t dig in or bother my wrist.

I liked the watch and I wanted to keep it but unfortunately it wasn’t comfortable to me. So, I had to let it go. Great watch though, good brand history, good specs, good size and prices are great for a Swiss automatic.

I have this very same watch. 1000 ft w.r.? Sapphire mineral crystal, excellent fit to the wrist. Rotating bezel. Magnifier over date( mineral,). Screw down crown. This movement is excellent 46hr power reserve.
For $600? Excellent stainless steel divers swiss made, swiss manufactured, automatic men's watch.
You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend!

It’s a great watch with great bang per buck. However, you stated it has an ETA 2824, but Glycine uses Selita movements since The Invicta take over. They still call it it their “in house” GL2824 but it is a Selita.

Not the movement on mine it states ETA 2824. 2021 PURCHASED.

nothing wrong with Sellita, arguably even better than the 2824, glyciene uses sellita since invicta? is that fact or are you just thinking it? that said like many others I too like to "brag" that mines a 2824..

Fact. It has nothing to do with Invicta. At that time ETA started limiting sales to non Swatchgroup brands. Even Tudor is using Selita now in some of their models. Glycine is still calling their movement “GL2824” even though it is a Selita. The easiest way to tell what you have is to look at the movement. If it says 25 jewels it’s an ETA, if it says 26 jewels it’s a Selita. Basically the same movement just an extra jewel. Selita even produced parts for ETA in the past.

I have a large wrist and the lugs don’t dig in on me. No problem in wearability here.

hello, excellent video🔥.. I recently bought a glo185 combat sub and compared to other watches in my possession with the sw200 caliber, I noticed a noisy rotor, does it seem normal or should I have it checked?. Thank you

Glycine is no entry level. It is on par w Hamilton, longines, and Raymond Weil

Agree. 36mm combat sub is like a tank! Keeps great time too!

I remember when this model was on par price wise with oris aquis. About 12 yrs ago. I.m.o. it is no way on par with longines but I'd say it is with hamilton or tissot.

I came looking for the comments reacting to calling a $450 watch a "beater" 😂...I mean in comparison to very expensive watches I guess so. My "beater" is a Casio Duro. $60 watch.

I have the combat sub on a nato strap and it feels great as a daily watch so maybe try a nato to "combat” the hot spot? I also own a German Flier/pilot watch and trust me the BIG crown is way worst on the back of my hand! If I wear my Flieger for a whole day then I’ll have a very visible red mark on the back of my hand. Very painful.

600? I’ve seen this at Costco for 300

you're probably wearing the watch below the wrist bone, move it up above the bone and size it for ther

if the crown digs in to your hand/wrist, you're wearing it too low.

Its comfortable. You just wear to much lotion on your skin. Be a man.
