Just picked on of these bikes up. Needs a lot of work. Only one working brake is that the way it’s suppose to be . No back pedal to stop. Just wondering if a back brake can be added.
Got the same bike don't know the manufacturer or the year but her name is sameen go take a wild guess what color I painted it LOL by the way be careful the axles are very sensitive to breakage where the cotter pin goes through the hub got lucky and had leftover axles from either old mini bikes or I think it was a double wheelbarrow I can't remember she's back on the road I did replace the front forks with a bigger wheel and use an old Schwinn set of forks the neck was kind of hard to put together needed to use a long spacer and still has a little slop in it good rule of thumb Don't let go them handlebars when you going downhill fast

You will probably need two back brakes for each tire, or just one if you prefer.
