So long story short if you want to add things to your drive make sure you go to your settings and make sure that your iCloud drive is turned on(you can search iCloud on settings and then scroll all the way down and you should see it) and then got to photos and pick whatever video or picture and share it to your drive then go to your folder and you’ll see it😉👍🏽

@@cindys7376 I've learned that this is not how iCloud works. Icloud is just a backup of your iDevices. Not a storage for separate folders/files. You want to increase your google drive, buy dropbox service, or buy an external HD.

I went to try and manually back up my iPad Thursday morning (it wasn’t doing it automatically), and then it fully backed up, and then my Files app was fully functional and showing everything. I can't delete things because on the phone and computer show there is nothing in the iCloud documents. Something is really wrong. Ive even gone online and logged into iCloud to triple delete. still used space is 1.8TB of documents listed on the drive.

You can’t store apps in Files. If you want to store documents, photos or any other kind of files, you have to move/save them there manually.
