That’s why a bank vault is completely secured and inaccessible to the public and most members of staff for that matter. So it’s nothing like a bank vault
To my understanding, every bus depot is situated on private property, as the company leases the premises. Normally it states on the gates that public cant enter without permission. This is normally why depots are not situated in towns or cities and situated on the outskirts. All tickets are sold at the travel shop which is normally in a town.
I have a vague memory of going to my cities bus depot once, which I'm fairly sure was because the driver was running low on fuel, so decided to fill up when he had passengers on board. Luckily I wasn't on my way to work... I also have a vague memory of having to go there once, to collect something I left on the bus. However it's nowhere near the outskirts of my city's 141 square mile area, and is just 0.7 miles away by foot or 1.2 miles away by road, South of the main bus and railway stations in the city centre.
There’s insurance reasons behind it too. There’s exceptions where nice staff might let someone away but generally safety and insurance concerns (aswell as the ease to steal a bus considering no keys to gain entry). Random bystanders are generally not insured for obvious reasons to stroll around a depot. Usually reporting to the reception is a must when you come onsite (at least here) so idk whats to be mad about
I use to drive buses and to be fair, once the day had started and drivers and other staff were about there was no real barrier to people walking straight into the driver's changing room. There was a sign )at our place) indicating that all visitors must report to the office and a general expectancy that people would know not to just wander around a workplace. I think this is just a bit of mischief to be honest.
@@JGmedia18 Yes. I live in Caboolture just north of Brisbane. The bus company I worked for operates from an island (connected by bridge) about twenty five kilometres east of me. I've got a couple of video clips on TH-cam where I've put my mobile phone on the dashboard of the bus and recorded the trips.
If 1 staff tells you to enter, and you accept that, why can't you leave when another tells you and accept that? Especially as the 2nd appears to be in a position of authority? Also the signs directed otherwise. Why not think twice or question first? Undermines completed what you're attempting to do.
If he's there to carry out an audit he will have had to book his visit some weeks before and after his audit the guy will be required to complete a report that will go back to the Arriva hierarchy. So, if for whatever reason he's being told to leave then the chances are that he will just have to come back anyway.
He does know the law because he runs a bus company, I wonder if one of he's drivers can represent me if I ever have to go to court again? Arriva bus company not only can they get you from A to B but they can also get you bail 😂😅😅😂 Good job guys!! 🙏

That's like going to greggs to buy a pasty from the factory. The tickets etc are sold from bus stations etc not depots. The depot is just for the storage of buses, facilitate the drivers breaks, cars, hr, the engineers etc etc and for the most part the depots themselves need a safety induction and a high vis to be worn before entering the site. I give permission to film in public it’s gonna be ok 👌
So the public can come in for schedules, lost items, etc. but then deny access to a member of the public.
Clueless about laws AGAIN. How do these people get employed?!
