Yes, this is a linear D.E, and there is a mistake in this video, because we should judge on D.E depending on the linearity of the "Dependent" variable (y) and its derivatives , not on the "Independent" variable (x).
But what, when (y^2)(d2y/dx2) i.e. square of dependant variable is in multiple with second order differential term?! Is it also consider as non linera!?
Yes it is. The exponent of dependent variable must not be greater than 1. It means it can either 0 or 1. I have just started a new TH-cam Channel for IIT JEE Mains and Advanced Preparation. If it is useful in anyway please subscribe. Link: th-cam.com/channels/HPvYIUzQgLbz-b9fdvN3cQ.html
Thanks for being in touch with us. Here degree of D.E. equals 1, exponent of dependent variable equals 1. No terms contain product of y and dy/dx. Hence, linear.
The DE at 2:24 is a linear differential equation. It satisfies all the conditions you gave in the beginning
Bro here dependent variable is "x" not "y". And x has exponent 2 which implies this is non linear. May Allah bless you
@IB Did you find the correct answer to it..i m agree with you
Yes, this is a linear D.E, and there is a mistake in this video, because we should judge on D.E depending on the linearity of the "Dependent" variable (y) and its derivatives , not on the "Independent" variable (x).
@@OptimumJohanno the answer is right if u see instead of dy/dx it is dx/dy so x is dependent variable so it is a non linear DE
I've no words to thank you. May God bless you and you provide your great service.
So nice of you
Best video...on TH-cam on LDE...and time saving
Thank you
Thnk u sr... Explained better than any other people on TH-cam
Crystal clear sir thank you so much
So nice of you.
Properly explained in one video👌👌🙏💯👍

I wasn't told this. All my life I was told to rote.
BTW, thank u sir, so much.
boht short or acha btaya hai thanks 😊
Thank you so much for such an easy explanation, God bless you
Sir give some examples of LDE...
This video Helped a lot sir thank you
Wonderful explanation👌

So nice of You.
Thanks a lot sir I was highly confused between these both equations 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much Sir......💯💯👍
Thanku so much sir.. For more clearing concept....
Nice and clear explanation sir
Thanks.
So properly explained 💯💯
Thanks a lot sir. Ur explanation is super
thanks a lot sir ,your lecture helped me .
Glad to hear that
what about sin(dy/dx)
Sir please continue diffrencial equations playlist
Thank you sir
for clearing my doubt❣️🙏
what about if there e^x, is it linear or nonlinear
Mja aa gya sir
Very very thank u
Love u sir 😊🤗🤗🙏🏻
Thanks Boss
Welcome
thank u so much sir to make this more clear
dv/ds + dv/dt = v
Is this equation linear or non linear and why?
Thank u so much sir for this concept clear🙏🏻
Always welcome.
Thanks atlast got real answer
do u teach applied math from M.L agrawal? CLASS 11 (XI)
Send your contact number, name and stream. Thank you.
@@NumberX sorry i just saw that you teach full english i needed in hindi+english
It's ok. Thanks. Have a nice day.
Sir english medium na topics na video che?
thank you
Thank you Sir.
Beautiful explanation.
Really spr sir
Thank you Sir
for making this concept more clear!
Wonderful sir all doubt about linear nonlinear is clear
Thanks. You must watch how to find integrating factor.
Thank you so much...👍👍👍
sir..if the degree of the highest order is 1/2 ..will it be linear then?
good
But what, when (y^2)(d2y/dx2) i.e. square of dependant variable is in multiple with second order differential term?! Is it also consider as non linera!?
Yes, non linear
Thank you it's helpful for me 👍
Well explained in simple way
Thank you ☺
i know Im pretty off topic but does anybody know a good site to watch newly released movies online ?
@Tatum Miller i use flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
@Genesis Paxton Yup, I've been watching on FlixZone for since april myself =)
@Genesis Paxton Thanks, signed up and it seems like a nice service =) I appreciate it !
@Tatum Miller you are welcome =)
Thnk u sir
Helpful🙏🙏🙏
Well explained Sir🙏🏻
Thank you for making this concept more clear!
Great
Worth the watch
Is xy' - yx' = c linear or nonlinear?
That's non-linear.
fast and simple
thanks sir
Thank uh so much sir😊
So nice of you
@@NumberX thank uh sir😊🥺🙏
If exponent of dependent variable is 0 and other comments is 1 then is it linear?
Yes it is. The exponent of dependent variable must not be greater than 1. It means it can either 0 or 1.

d2y/dx2 + x2. dy/dx + 4xy = x sinx
Is it question linear or non linear
Excellent sir
Thanks
Thanks for the help
So nice of you
Hlo sir how many integrating factor does a non exact differential equation have ?????
Plz reply me sir
Very informative
Glad you liked it
Thank u sir for the concept more clear nd conscience 🙏
this video is very helpful thank you
Sir if there is a term like sin(y) and y is the dependent variable then would it be considered non linear?
Watch video of khan academy on difderential equations for this
Thank u so much sir
நன்றி👏👏
is your name abhay bestrapalli
Very useful Sir. Thank you Sir.
d^3y/dx^3+y=x is linear or not?
Thanks for being in touch with us. Here degree of D.E. equals 1, exponent of dependent variable equals 1. No terms contain product of y and dy/dx. Hence, linear.
Heard the accent and I knew I was saved
Thank you say you helped me a lot
Thank u sir🙏🏻
Thankyou
Awesome teaching
I have totally understand it

Interesting
Sir , dy / dx = y square . Is this linear or Non - linear Differential equation ?
Please reply and give reason also
Nonlinear, because exponent of dependent variable is 2. Please watch @02:31. Thanks.
