Sometimes you have to follow the instructions of your instructor regarding solving the equation. I think you must need to follow the steps for solving that DE according of what your instructor thought. In solving DE you could use different formulas it might be tricky but it is,

This method requires you to memorize the integrating factor and the solution equations. Whereas, if you try to convert the Bernoulli's equation to a linear differential equation, you don't have to memorize any equation. Correct me If I'm wrong.
Hey One question : if n=0 we solve by integrating if n=1 we solve by integrating but if n different then 0 and n different then 1 we should solve by substitution?

it’s not a bernoulli equation, it’s in the standard form of a linear equation
