PPIHC 2024

I took my son to his first PPIHC! It was a great day, perfect weather which very unexpected. I'm not sure what happened but there were about 12 red flags, it was brutal. The race didn't end until after 4pm which was ridiculous. The last two cars didn't even run.

Really glad Rob made it to the top, with all the red flags I was scared, especially when the radio station started speculating that car #146 had a failure (it was the polo they just assumed)

I made the decision that this year was the year I was gonna go. I'd been through the mountains like 20 years ago, so I wasn't sure about altitude. That and whole not being able to leave, I ended up getting tickets for me and my dad. We flew into Denver Friday, flew out Sunday. It was awesome to see, I think I'll save my money and watch it live next year online. I'll be bringing my kid to his first Rally event in late August, and that's about the same as watching at the turn one spectator area.
