I got the burgundy Eddie Bauer edition '89 B2 but this color and the green are my favorites... I like pre-'80s vehicles the most, but these are the best things that the auto industry produced in the 1980s
Right!!! I like them all though!! I need a Ford from the 70’s. I’ve got one from the 50’s on minus the 70’s!! Haha. That’ll need rectified at some point!! Haha!! Thanks for the comment.
I have a ? Bout my 1990 bronco 2 2.9l hoping you can help I need to replace the thermostat was wondering if you know witch way the jiggle value should point I'm guessing 12 o'clock appreciate any advice or answers.
@@patrickperez5616 Oh I know what you mean. It’s the handle to lower the fuse panel. If the fuse panel is hanging down pull the handle and push up on the fuse panel then release the handle and it should stay up and out of the way.
@@GillansGarage I owned two 88 BII sadly both now sold off. My last one was an Eddie Bauer edition with a mint interior. Found a NOS steering wheel for it as well. Also the factory brush guard looks amazing on the BII
I think the XJ is far better. I’ve had 4 of them. Im actually trying to change it up and get a B2. All of them have issues and low miles because I don’t think they are reliable. All the XjS can have up to 200-300k miles and still running good. Crazy. I just want a bronco now :(
If I was a Jeep guy, I’d have XJ’s for sure. However being a Ford guy, it’s Broncos through and through!! Good luck with getting a Bronco!! I hope you find a good one!!
wow this is awesome I have one myself but mine is a 88! also has 159k miles on it and this is a work of art!
Thanks!!!
That's a nice looking Bronco II!!
Thank you!!
What size tires are you running on the Bronco ll?
@jhs517 Those are still stock size, 205-75R16. With 4.10’s I plan to install 235-75R16 tires soon.
I love working for ford when that happened. Love the bronco
Thanks!!!
Oh you're welcome. I worked at ford when the Firestone recall happened
@chriswilson1059 I remember that happening.
Yea it was bad. You could Literally see that it was separating from the side wall to the tread
It's sweet. My dad had one, same year, diff color. I am really jealous!
Thanks!!! I’m proud to own it!!

‘70s Ford 4x4 trucks and Broncos are my all time favorites (I have a ‘78 F-150)… best decade for 4x4s
@@JUMBOs-RC someday I’d like to have a ‘78 4x4 flatbed.
Love the video. Very clean bronco II. I have a bronco as well. And mine is almost as clean as yours.
Thanks!! If you live close to PA you should consider coming to the Carlisle Ford Nationals in June.
Yeah I’m in Los Angeles. The event seems to be really nice tho.
@@blueduke1524 Well that can’t be much farther away!! Haha!!
@@GillansGarage true indeed. Thanks
Another nice BII, Sir. Very clean.
Thank you!!!
@@GillansGarage nice reminds me of my uncle 1984 bronco 2 xls he brought in 83 new

Nice just got one 90 model can you let me know what the pull cable next to the break release is the writing on mine is gone
Thanks! I assume you are talking about the hood release?
@@GillansGarage no the one between the hood and break release its a metal handle thought I saw it on yours

Very nice, thank you for the video!
Thank you!!! Thanks for the comment!!!
Really nice B2, I suspect it may the nicest one left. I have an 89 with 62K original that is beautiful but yours is better.
Thanks Jeff!!!!
@@GillansGarage Where'd you get the added leaf in the back? I'd like to do the same with mine as it sags a little too
@@crazymayne69 Penn Public in Altoona PA. They’re a leaf spring shop. If memory serves it was under $200.
where is the original battery hold down
nice car👍 I have a question, how long is the cargo length when the rear seat bench is removed?
If ur still wondering I have a bronco 2 it’s about 3 to 4 feet and the seats fold down
No cargo cover for the rear?
No, unfortunately that is missing. I haven’t looked very hard for a replacement but I do need to find one

I got a 2001 Cherokee 2dr sport. I still love the Bronco ll looks better. Couldn't find one. Got the jeep. Is that a cat or a panther romin round?

Can you send me an email, my email is jjgillan82@gmail.com. I can give you a number via email so we can chat. Thanks!!!
I believe it's almost identical to the one ya had in college?
It’s close but that one had the tan color in the middle!!
Start it so we can hear the lifters rattle
This one is still good so there’s no lifter tap yet!
Mine has 144k zero tick
All I can say is, "dude, you suck!" :)
I'm so jealous...
Sorry man!!! Thanks though!!
Id rather have like a 1990 explorer 2 door. Same thing as the bronco 2 just little longer. 4.0 and manual trans
Those are nice too!!!
My bronco ii has 43k miles
243k*
